The Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek begins the day after you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, followed by sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley. We then embark on a scenic drive from Kathmandu to the picturesque city of Pokhara, where you can relax at 800 meters with a drink or enjoy boating on Phewa Lake, surrounded by stunning views of snow-capped peaks.
Our trekking adventure starts with a drive to Nayapul, the trek's starting point. As we hike through waterfalls, charming settlements, and lush forests, we will spend the night in Tikhedhunga. The trek to Ghorepani and Poon Hill includes a challenging climb of 3,300 steps at Ulleri, rewarding us with breathtaking views of the Himalayas. The next day, before dawn, we hike to Poon Hill for a spectacular sunrise over the Annapurna range, including Mt. Dhaulagiri and Mt. Machhapuchre. After enjoying the views, we descend to Tadapani and trek through the cultural village of Ghandruk before returning to Pokhara and concluding our trek with a drive back to Kathmandu.
