This classic Everest base camp trek (5630) 11 days of hiking starts with experiencing a breathtaking mount flight to Lukla from Kathmandu city. your trail leads through the famous numerous Sherpa village and Buddhist monasteries. in the true adventure, you will continue trekking with your guide and porters. the path following the Dhudha Koshi River. And you will walk inside Rhododendron and the pine forest. To acclimatize your body properly before getting in high elevation, however, you stay one night in Namche Bazaar. This trading village between Tibet and the Sherpa village is located at 3440 m altitude. Also, we visit Sherpa Museum, Sagarmatha National Park information center, Monastery at Namche bazaar.

DAY 1: AARRIVAL IN KATHMANDU(1,350M

Arrival in Kathmandu. you are greeted at the airport by our team and then transferred to our hotel. Evening briefing from your guide

DAY 2: PREPARE FOR TREKKING AND EXPLORE KATHMANDU VALLEY (1350M)

We reserve this day for sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley and to prepare for trekking. After having a warm breakfast, we will leave the hotel in a private vehicle with an experienced tour guide. We will visit several UNESCO listed world heritage sites in Kathmandu valley and the famous sacred Hindu temple, the Pashupatinath temple, Swayambhunath stupa, and Boudhanath stupa. These places are famous to have inherited ancient religious practices, architecture, and culture.

DAY 3: KATHMANDU - RAMECHAPP - FLIGHT TO LUKLA (2850 M) - PHAKDING (2660 M)

Very early departure (between 2 am and 4 am) for Ramechapp airport. On your arrival, a breakfast near the airport will be organized before taking your flight to Lukla. On your arrival in Lukla, organization of the loads with the porters and the sherpas then start of the trek. Depending on availability in the lodges, stage in Phakding (2610 m) or Monjo (2835 m), in order to shorten the next long stage to Namche Bazar.

DAY 4: TREKKING FROM PHAKDING TO NAMCHE BAZAR (3440 M)

We appreciate the softness and greenery of the Dudh Kosi Gorge. At this average altitude, vegetation is still abundant, pine forests cover the steep slopes. At the detours of the trail we discover hamlets nestled in clearings, nestled above the banks of the river or perched on small flats. After the village of Monjo, we enter the Sagarmatha National Park (“goddess mother of heaven” Nepalese name given to Mount Everest). Created in 1976 and listed as a World Natural Heritage by UNESCO, the park extends over the entire watershed of Dudh Kosi, within which our course. By a wide path winding through the pines, we climb 500 meters above the confluence with the Bhote Kosi. Around 3100 meters, a small stop is needed to discover Everest in focus. Namche, the capital of the Sherpa country is staged in a large amphitheater overlooking the gorges, facing the peaks of the Lumding Himal. The village is of importance, nearly 2500 inhabitants live in opulent houses. Markets, traditional shops, and Sherpa shops offer a lively atmosphere.

DAY 5: ACCLIMITAZTION DAY

Free day on Namche, the most important village in the region. Many lodges and restaurants are present at this starting point of the trek to Everest. It is the ideal place to rest and acclimatize at a high altitude, before embarking on this hike. According to the desire, half-day trekking on the heights of Namche Bazar: villages of Khunde and Khumjung (3780 m), landscapes of pastures, and small well-ordered fields. We can admire the sunset on Ama Dablam, Nuptse, and Everest above Namache (1-hour walk).

DAY 6: TREKKING FROM TO PHORTSE (3810 M)

We climb above Namche Bazar by a gently sloping path on the mountainside to Mong Pass, overlooking Ama Dablam and Kantega, two of Nepal’s most spectacular peaks. We then descend to Phortse Tenga at 3600 m at the edge of the Milky River (Dudu Khosi) and go back slightly to the village of Phortse (3810 m). This day allows us to perfect our acclimatization to the altitude

DAY 7: TREKKING FROM PHORTSE TO PHERICHE (4240M)

A slow and steady climb up the Khumbu Valley to Pangboche, the village dominated by Ama Dablam. For 1h30, we go along the river imjakhola through Shomare, then we follow Lobuche Khola to Pheriche.

DAY 8: TREKKING FROM PHERICHE TO LOBUCHE (4930M)

Easy walk for 1 hour, then the trail climbs gently until Thokla (4620 m), then a steep climb to the Thokla pass (4830 m), where there are chortens in memory of the dead during the ascent of Everest. We have an exceptional view of the West peaks of Everest and the elegant summit of Ama Dablam.

DAY 9: TREKKING FORM LOBUCHE -KALA PATTER TO GORASHEP(5165m

Early in the morning, we leave for Kala Pattar (5630 m) to enjoy the view. We follow the Khumbu Glacier Lateral Moraine, a sawtooth path in steep boulders. The climb is relatively easy until Gorakshep and becomes steeper until Kala Pattar. The view is sublime on the highest and most prestigious peaks in the world. We are at the heart of the mineral universe of high mountains. After this exceptional show, we go back down to Gorakshep. Free time in one of the highest villages in the world. The bravest can go to the Everest base camp, the mythical heart of Himalayanism (4 hours more).

DAY 10:HIKE GORAKSHEP(5288M) TO BASE CAMP (5360M)

We trek alongside the Khumbu Glacier as the path winds over the rocky moraine toward the settlement of Gorak Shep. We are high, among the glaciers of the world’s highest peaks. Following our arrival at Gorak Shep, we have an early lunch before we commence our trek to Everest Base Camp. In the pre-monsoon season, many expeditions can be seen at base camp and this excursion is one of the highlights of the trek.

DAY 11: TREKKING FROM GORAKSHE TO DINBOCHE (4400 M)

We turn back to Thokla and fork to Dingboche, entering one of the wildest valleys of Khumbu. Island Peak, Ama Dablam, and further Makalu offer magnificent sights. Steeper descent to reach Deboche. Stunning views of Nuptse, Pumori, and Langtren.

DAY 12: TREKKING FROM DINGBOCHE - TENGBOCHE TO NAMCHEE (3440 M)

The day begins with the climb to Tengboche, the spiritual heart of Khumbu. Visit the famous monastery, a magnificent site dominated by Ama Dablam. We then take the path of descent through the forests of rhododendrons to reach the banks of the Dudh Koshi. Night in Namche Bazar.

DAY 13: TREKKING FROM NAMCHEE BAZER TO LUKLA (2800 M)

We soon taste the gentle warmth of the low valleys descending the forested gorges of the Dudh Khosi, crossing the villages of Monjo and Phakding, before going back to Lukla where we thank the team of porters. We will spend our last evening in the heart of Khumbu.

DAY 14: LUKLA - RAMECHAPP - KATHMANDU

Flight to Ramechapp airport then transfer to Kathmandu. The flight is subject to weather conditions, a delay in the day of rotation is possible. This is why we always plan a reserved day in Kathmandu before resuming the international flight. Transfer to the hotel in Kathmandu and a free afternoon.

DAY 15: FINAL DEPARTURE TO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
