What many may not realize is that there are two distinct Everest Base Camps. One is situated on the north side of the mountain in Tibet at an elevation of 5,150 meters, while the other is located on the south side in Nepal at 5,364 meters. Approximately 40,000 individuals travel to the South Base Camp each year. With its rising popularity among travelers, the Everest Base Camp Trek has become the premier trekking destination in Nepal.
Even if you don't intend to summit Mount Everest, there are numerous compelling reasons to visit Everest Base Camp. The trek from Lukla to base camp presents its own set of challenges, allowing you to satisfy your adventurous spirit.
This destination offers a unique experience that few people can claim to have reached. Situated high above sea level in the Himalayas, Everest Base Camp provides an extraordinary opportunity to observe how various animals and plants thrive in some of the harshest environments on Earth.

The weather in Nepal is characterized by distinct seasons, with the dry season lasting from October to May being the optimal time to visit.
Many travelers prefer to come during the post-monsoon season, which spans from October to December, as it offers clear skies and stunning views of the snow-capped mountains.
The pre-monsoon season, occurring from March to April, is particularly popular for climbing Everest, resulting in a vibrant atmosphere at base camp filled with climbers and trekkers preparing for their ascent.
The Everest Base Camp Trek begins in Kathmandu, where you'll gather supplies and attend a pre-trek briefing. Then, we take an early flight to Lukla and start your trek to Phakding, where you'll spend your first night in the Everest region. Over the next few days, you'll hike to Namche Bazaar, taking a day to acclimatize and enjoy stunning views of the mountains.
