Description
Everest Base Camp Trek is for all kinds of trekkers including those who’re doing it for the first time.Don’t believe when people say that you can’t do it. Guides and trainers with years of experience will always be there to instruct and assist you. Once you reach the gateway to Everest, which is Lukla, you will be provided with the guides who will lead you to your destination and bring you back safe and sound. The trek starts off from Lukla (2860 m) heading to Monzo at the elevation of 2804 m. You always have an option to move on or take rest depending on the situations at any point of your expedition. Acclimatization is essential which is why there are hotels and lodges on the way to the top. A rest for day or two is entertained however; keep in mind that it will only lengthen your trekking days. From Monzo, we head straight to the small town in the mountains called Namche Bazar. It is a major hub for people living in mountains. Here in the Namche Bazar, you will stay a night and move up again early in the next morning. Tengboche, Dingboche, Lobuche are other villages en route to the base camp. At 5,360 meters above sea level is the Everest Base Camp. The journey uphill gives you the taste of pure nature. The golden paddy fields, dense intense rhododendron forests and white mountains encircling around you, what more can you ask for? The smell of those dew-wet grass in the morning will somehow remain locked in your brain or heart. People are believed to have come back recalling all the memories they were able to create in the mountains during their unforgettable Everest Base Camp Trek. Besides nature, the other thing people praise is the ethnic Sherpa culture. Sherpas have been in mountains for as long as the time when human existence was found. They keep the mountains alive. Enjoy your vacation getting to know these legends of Earth.
