Mount Toubkal Trek 2 days
Climb Mount Toubkal
Challenge yourself to climb the highest peak in North Africa in just 2 or 3 days. Starting and finishing in the vibrant city of Marrakech, this tour includes transport to and from Imlil. You'll trek with a local English-speaking guide, a cook, and mules to carry your luggage. It's a challenging walk rather than a climb, accessible to anyone in good physical condition. Bring your camera for the spectacular summit views.
Mount Toubkal, standing at 4167m, is North Africa's highest peak. The trek involves no technical climbing but does require walking with crampons and an ice axe for security during November to April. Designed for keen walkers, the ascent includes some easy scrambling and snow slopes, ensuring a rewarding adventure.

2 Day mount Toubkal trekking
Day 1: Marrakech to Imlil and Trek to Toubkal Refuge via Aremd & Mizane Valley
Departing from Marrakech, drive south through the Haouz Plain and past Asni, entering the foothills of the Toubkal Massif. Reach Imlil and start a trek with a mountain guide through the Mizane Valley. Visit the village of Aremd, known for its traditional farming and gridlocked streets filled with goats and cattle. Pass the shrine of Sidi Chamarouch and continue climbing up to Toubkal Refuge (3206m), your stop for the night. (Approx. 5 hours walking)
Day 2: Summit of Jebel Toubkal and Return to Imlil-Marrakech
Early morning, attempt to summit Jebel Toubkal (4165m), the highest peak in Northern Africa. Navigate scree fields and boulders, with challenging parts due to altitude. Enjoy breathtaking views from the plateau and summit, then descend back to Imlil and drive back to Marrakech.
