3 days from marrakech to fes DAY 1 : Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley : 3 Days Tour Marrakech to Fes, starts in the morning towards Ouarzazate through the Tizi-N-Tichka Pass (2260 m) in the High Atlas Mountains.You will enjoy a snaky road, beautiful landscapes with different colors and the Berber villages along the way between Marrakech and Ouarzazate, which is the doorway to the Sahara desert. The next destination is a UNESCO world heritage site called Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, classified since 1986 where a few Berber families are still living supported by UNESCO. Ait Ben Haddou is one of many locations served as natural decoration for many movies which were shot in the Area such as “Lawrence of Arabia” and “Jesus of Nazareth”. With your guide you take a walk across the dried river to discover Ait Ben Haddou that dominates the Kasbah, once you get to the top of the hill. After we had stopped for lunch we drive to Ouarzazate. There we will visit the Filmstudio and Kasbah Taourirt. Then we are taking the Road of 1000 Kasbahs, to get to Skoura Palm Grove where the most beautiful Kasbahs of Southern Morocco are located (Amridil Kasbah). The next city is Kelaa Magouna a Berber city that celebrates the Festival of Roses each year. It takes place every first week of May, and it is an opportunity for locals to meet and sell the rose water and other products made from the rose. We will continue our day excursion to Valley of Roses until we arrive in Dades Valley. DAY 2 : – Todra Valley – Desert – Camel Trek : After breakfast, we take direction towards Todra Valley. We will walk through the valley and afterwards departure to join Erfoud by Tinjdad Palm Grove. In Erfoud we make a break for lunch and visit the marble and fossil production workshop before we go by track towards the amazing dunes of Erg Chebbi. We stop at the hotel at the dunes to have Moroccan tea. There you can prepare yourself to go into the heart of the dunes by camel trek. On your way you will stop in the middle of dunes to see the most beautiful sunset, you have ever seen before you will continue to your traditional Berber camp. DAY 3 : Ziz Valley – Middle Atlas – Ifrane – Fes : You will wake up early to enjoy the wonderful sunrise over the dunes, then your camel trek will take you back to the hotel to have breakfast. After you take a shower we will drive to the beautiful Ziz Valley and to Midelt, where we will stop for lunch. Then we drive to the Middle Atlas. At a short break you can watch the Barbary Apes in the cedar forests. Our last stop is Ifrane, which ist called “The Switzerland of Morocco”, there we enjoy some coffee, before we arrive at Fes.
