Start by Fez Alleys to explore lovely narrow streets lined with local fresh fruit, vegetables, spices mounds, woven Berber carpets, and other Morocco handicraft items. Next, we’ll visit Islamic mosques university-mosque Al-Quaraouiyine, Madrasa Bou Inania, Madrasa Al-Attarine Koranic, visit also Najjarine Fountain, Batha Palace Chouwara Tanneries, souk Attarine, and Souk Henna. Then drive towards Bab Boujloud or Blue Gate with its attractive blue and green ceramics. Stopping to capture memorable photos at the Jewish Quarter built in 1438 located near royal residencies which enables its inhabitants to be protected. Furthermore, visit Ibn Danan synagogue one of the oldest and most important synagogues in North Africa, the privately owned 17th-century synagogue was renovated in 1999 and it was once the centre of Jewish life in Fes-Mellah, Entering Kings Palace discovering its wonderful gate made of marble–copper and Mosaic for more photos & visiting lovely Janan Sabil garden.

After breakfast, pick up from the hotel/Riad in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle.

The first part of the Fez tour will be outside the Medina and includes:

►The Royal Palace gate in Fes, the oldest & largest palace Gates of the King (14th Century) made of marble copper and Mosaic.

►Stop to capture memorable photos at the Jewish Quarter (built in 1438) located near Royal residencies which enabled its inhabitants to be protected from the wrath of the Muslim populace. The Mellah in Fes was once only inhabited by Jews. This was the first “Mallah” in Morocco.

►Visit Ibn Danan synagogue one of the oldest and most important synagogues in North Africa, built in the 17 century. ( One of the oldest synagogues in Fes). The simplicity of the building will just fascinate you, with its wooden ceiling, and the construction coated with plaster. The Ibn Danan synagogue has been added to the 1996 World Monuments Watch List and Fund.

►Ceramic school: known for its handmade pottery. You will have the chance to discover amazing products and see local artisans.

Madersa Bou Inania: Established by Abu Inan Fais ( in AD 1351–56), who established the Madrasa Bou Inania in Meknes city too. ►Kairouine University, one of the leading spiritual and educational centres of the Muslim world, In addition to, it considered the oldest continuously operating institution of higher learning in the world. (Founded in 859)

►Attarine Madrassa, known for its Arabic calligraphy at the entrance, and the beautiful fountain in the courtyard. Furthermore, the place is fully ornamented with marble and Moroccan zellij. In addition to, the big wooden doors.

►Moulay Idriss mausoleum, A zaouia (shrine), the tomb of Moulay Idriss II, who ruled Morocco from 807 to 828 and founded Fez city for the second time in 810.

Mausoleum or Zaouia Sidi Ahmed Tijani: That holds the tomb of an 18th-century Sufi Shaykh, founder of the Tijaniyya order. The Zawiya show a street facade highly ornamented with carved wood, stucco, and wonderful glazed tile.
