Day 1: Arrival at Casablanca Airport – Visit Hassan II Mosque – Rabat – Assilah
Open arrival, our driver guide will meet you at the airport of Casablanca, and then start your 11 Days experience Morocco tour from Casablanca. In Casablanca you will visit the Hassan II the largest mosque in Africa and experience the Atlantic coast. Then travel to Rabat, which is the country’s capital and one of the four imperial cities in Morocco. We will discover the best attraction of this city such as the Hassan Tower and Oudaya Kasbah before driving to Assilah, while we get will check in to Hotel /or Riad where you will stay for overnight.
Day 2: Tangier – Chefchaouen
After breakfast, we will have time to explore Asilah city and amazing landscapes of Atlantic coast ; Asilah is known for its annual festival of the street art, the majority the walls of the city are painted by many famous artists. You will visit also Skalla fortress, where you will enjoy an amazing view of the medina. Then we drive to Tangier known as the bride of Norther Morocco, we will visit the most attractions of the city like Hercules caves, Cap Spartel… and have time for lunch. Then, continue our way along the Rif Mountains, in the afternoon we will arrive to the bleu city (Chefchaouen), overnight in Riad in the blue alleys of the medina.
Day 3: Explore Chefchaouen
After breakfast, you will explore Chefchaouen or Chaouen called “the blue Pearl”, it is a very special and traditional Moroccan town surrounded by the Rif Mountains, in northwest, Morocco. It is Famous for the remarkable buildings in different shades of faded blue of its old town, which feels like a clean and elegant world. It has come to be known as such due to a distinctive blue color all the inhabitant use to paint their houses. This traditions and beliefs that the color blue represent the sky which in turn reminds people of heaven and God. This color covering the city gives it an amazing charm as well as a sense and an atmosphere of relaxation, comfort and peace.You will start your Chefchaouen sightseeing by walking around the blue streets, enjoying the beautiful blue walls, doors, windows & amazing side shops of the old Medina with a lot of amazing picture chance around every corner. You will have break time to taste the delicious Moroccan dishes of the north. In the evening visit the ancient Kasbah Ali Ben Rachid and Plaza Uta El-Hammam and have a great sunset of the whole town for known Spanish Mosque. Our lovely day ends in the same Riad.
Day 4: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknas – Fes
After breakfast, we will start our Journey towards Volubilis via many Rif’s village such as Ouazzan & several others stunning Rif’s villages. First stop in Volubilis is one of the best-preserved Roman ruins in Morocco. We will explore and learn about this archeological site of Moroccan history that offers an impressive display of columns, abandoned buildings and beautiful mosaics dating back to 3rd century BC.
After the visit of the ruins we will continue our road to Meknes, the Ismaili capital & one of the four Imperial cities in Morocco, where we will stop for lunch, then start exploring interesting places of the city such as: the fascinating Bab Mansour Gate built by the Sultan Moulay Ismail, discover the tranquil courtyards of the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail and Sahrij Swani used for irrigation and plantation. Strolling around the ancient Meknes medina and soak up the charming hubbub of El Hedim Square. In the afternoon we head to Fes to relax, overnight in a traditional Riad in the heart of the medina.
Day 5: Fez Sightseeing
After breakfast, you will start discovering the most historical and cultural city in Morocco. In Fes “the spiritual city of Morocco” you will visit the medina – the old city, with its architecture. Our guided tour in Fez includes many monuments Such as: the Jewish Quarter (Mellah) and the Dar El Makhzen or Royal Palace with its colorful mosaicked architecture & golden doors. The famous Chaouwara Tanneries the largest leather workshop in the city built in the 11th century. The Kairaouine Mosque (the old school of Islamic learning), and also one of the oldest universities in the world, while non-Muslims cannot enter but you can admire the mosque courtyard from the gates. The Najjarine Marble Fountain and Al-Attarine Madrassa is a religious school with some of the most striking Islamic architecture. The Bou Inania Medersa is one of Fes most architecturally beautiful theological colleges.You will have time for lunch in Moroccan local restaurant. After you will discover Bab Boujloud archway is that its mosaics change color from blue on the exterior wall to green on the interior wall to spot the sacred color of Islam. Stroll around streets and markets of the medina. Later we will take you to the panoramic place to have an amazing view over the sprawling medina of Fes El-Bali, overnight at the same Riad in the medina.
Day 6: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Middle Atlas – Ziz Valley – Merzouga
After breakfast, our 11 Days experience Morocco going to continue: we leave Fes and driving though the Middle Atlas Mountains. We will stop in Ifrane city which referred to as “Switzerland of Morocco”. We will stop also at the Forest of Cedar near to Azrou, where we can watch barbarian Monkeys. Then, continue our road to Midelt, the famous town of apples where we will have time for lunch. Later in the afternoon we’ll drive to Sahara desert towards Tizi N’talghoumte pass (1907m), passing by small Berber villages and the wonderful Ziz Valley situated in near to Errachidia city. After that we will continue to Merzouga via Aoufous and Erfoud, While we are out of Erfoud we will connect with the magic land of sand dunes (Erg Chebbi) where we will have dinner and stay in a local hotel / or Riad.
Day 7: Desert Tour – Khamliya village –Nomad Family – Camel trek & Overnight in Luxury Desert Camp
After breakfast, we will start our journey around Erg-Chebbi sand dunes. We will explore many interesting places of the area such as: khamliya village where you will listen African music (Gnawa) played by the people originally from the black Africa, than we will continue our off-road desert tour to the black desert behind Erg-Chebbi sand dunes. We will visit an abandoned village where the working mineral fossils, then drive to visit a nomadic Berber family to see them lifestyle. We’ll back to khamliya to have a delicious lunch in Local restaurant. In the afternoon you will start Camel Trekking Adventure, across the beautiful unique orange colored sand dunes to desert camp. The great experience where you can feed your soul, enjoy the wonderful sunset from the middle of dunes. Dinner & overnight will be in camp, music played and you can frolic on the sand dunes under zillions of stars.
Day 8: Merzouga – Rissani Town – Tinghir – Todra Valley & Gorges – Dades Valley
In morning of the next day, is better to wake up early for lovely sunrise, after breakfast & shower return by camel ride / or vehicle to Merzouga village departure to Rissani town. We will walk around the famous, traditional and biggest Market of the area exploring the local-made goods and art crafts. It’s better to visit Rissani in one of the following days: Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. In these three days is souk, so it’s good days for the people of desert area that want to do shopping. Later we travel to Tinghir along the Tafilalt Oasis where we can stop to see the ancient system of irrigation found there. Continuing to Tinjdad town where we will have time for lunch. In the afternoon we will reach to Tinghir to explore the stunning views of Todra valley & walk along Todra Gorge with it orange towering cliffs, the canyons of Todra Gorge are almost 1,000 feet deep, also it’s a preferred place for the climbers. We will end our day in Dades Valley, check your hotel for relax, dinner & overnight.
Day 9: City of Rosas – Ouarzazate – Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou – – High Atlas – Marrakech
After breakfast, we will continue driving towords Ouarzazate by traveling along Dades Valley, the road of 1000 Kasbahs and the land of Roses in Kalaat M’Gonna town, visit world renowned cinema studio (Atlas studios) in Ouarzazate. Our trip continues to the ancient Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou. This fortified walled city was built right on the caravan path between Marrakech and the Sahara and was once a thriving trading post during the 17th century. Inside the high mud walls are 6 Kasbahs and a small number of homes. Ait Benhaddou has appeared in several movies, including Gladiator & Lawrence of Arabia. Take break here to have lunch Later we will drive to Marrakech through the Atlas Passes, on the road we will make stops to enjoy the stunning views of the Atlas Mountains and Tizi N’tichka pass (2260m). We will arrive to Marrakech in the evening, overnight in Riad in the heart of the medina.
Day 10: Marrakech sightseeing
After breakfast, you will start exploring the heart of Marrakech one of the Country’s imperial cities, referred to as the Red city due of its sandstone buildings. With your local guide you will visit the most famous historic sites, museums and colorful souks, or markets of the medina including the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace and the Jardin Majorelle a botanical garden that blends art deco and Moorish features.
You will have time for lunch. Then, continuing your sightseeing of Marrakech By walking around the local point of the Medina is Djemaa El-Fna, the main square, enjoying the theatre of the streets buzzing with snake charmers, musicians, acrobats, storytellers and magicians. In the evening you will have free time to enjoy the sunset overlooking the exciting Djemaa El-Fna Square from a restaurant terrace, accommodation in the same Riad.
Day 11: End Your Morocco Adventure
After breakfast, in the last day of your 11 Days experience Morocco tour from Casablanca, transfer to Casablanca airport and end of our services.
