DAY 1: Casablanca Airport-Hotel in Casablanca
You will be welcomed by your driver /guide in the airport of Mohamed 5 in Casablanca and take you to your hotel in Casablanca. Overnight in the hotel. Also if you have already arrived at Casablanca a few days before then we will pick up you in your hotel then start the tour.
DAY 2: Casablanca-Rabat-Chefchaouen
In the morning you will start your trip to visit the biggest mosque in Casablanca, Hassan 2 Mosque. Then you will go to the capital of Morocco « Rabat ». We will start with the Bab Challah, Mausoleum of Mohammed V and one of the main gates of the royal palace, and the Oudaya Kasbah. Lunch in a local restaurant. Then we drive straight to the blue city of Chefchaouen. Of course on the way, you will pass through many small towns and stop for breaks. Getting Chefchaouen a bit early to have time to walk inside the blue alleys of the medina, take pictures and experience the local food of the little city. Overnight in the hotel.
DAY 3: Chefchaouen – Fez
Today in Chefchaouen you will have free time all morning to visit the blue city. It is a city located in the Rif Mountains, north-west of Morocco. It is famous for the remarkable buildings of different tones of faded blue of its old town. Leather and weaving workshops line its steep cobbled alleys. In the shaded central square of Outa el Hammam is the casbah with red walls, fortress, and keep of the fifteenth century with ethnographic and artistic exhibitions. The octagonal minaret of the Great Mosque rises not far from there.
DAY 4: Fez
Exploring the medieval medina and the Imperial City of Fes Fes city is the oldest imperial city in the country and the most interesting of them all with the most complex roads and complete medina in the Arab world also the most interesting one to explore and get lost in it, for the untouched relatively since 1000 years ago. and often it considered Morocco's cultural capital. The city is made up of three parts; Fes el Bali, and Fes el Jdid, you'll be meeting your guide to spend the first half of the day learning about the history and the culture as you cross the streets of Medinas. start in Fes el Bali at the Bab Boujeloud (Boujloud gate), you’ll pass historic sites like the Quaraouiyine Mosque, founded in 859 by Fatima Al-Fihria along with the world’s oldest continuously university. You’ll see the elegant Nejjarine Fountain and the Batha Palace, now a museum of arts and culture, with its peaceful Andalusian garden. Take a peek at the dye pits of the pungent Chaouwara Tanneries. Continue with a visit to Souk Attarine, where you’ll find pyramids of colorful spices, Berber carpets, leather goods, and other treats like homemade orange blossom water. Visit Bab Boujloudanother gate, a massive triple-arched city gate decorated with geometric motifs in blue tile. If there's still time visit the new city (ville nouvelle) to discover the dramatic change in architecture.
DAY 5: Arfoud - Merzouga
The desert starting with climbing up over the Col du Zad pass in the early morning over than 7146 feet(2178m), through the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas mountains enjoying the local Barbary Macaque monkeys before having lunch in Midelt city known as the apple city, refreshing in Moulouya River, then continue to the Ziz valley using Tizi n'Talremt pass, this place known with its hidden oases and palm trees. Arriving at Arfoud, the festival date that they organize every year, here you will visit some local artisanship and learn more about them. Continue to Erg Chebbi, an extraordinary square of 13,5 miles of an extensive sea and sand dunes. Taking your tour with camels to watch the sunset and go directly to your camp where you'll spend a nice time, relaxing and having a delicious dinner around the fire.
DAY 6: Sahara towns, hidden Oases, and thousand kasbahs
Rising early to catch the sunrise then you'll leave to the dunes and head to Khemliya to see one of the traditional Saharan villages - its people originally from Mali. Continue west to pass through a dramatic gate into Rissani. A market town, Rissani holds a livestock auction and is home to a “donkey parking lot”, a site worth experiencing. Making your way to the desert town of Tinghir before reaching the 984 feet (300 m) deep Todra Gorge the perfect place for hiking. You will have time to explore the gorge and relax in the cool water of the shallow Todra River. Traveling through the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, local families still live in some of them, keeping their traditional way to live from their parents. Head west to Kela’a M’gouna, the valley of roses known like that because of the festival of roses they organize every year, here you can see extensively cultivated farmland bordered with fragrant rose bushes. Continue west to Ouarzazate, Morocco's capital for films, a gateway to the Sahara Desert made popular by the film industry. Join a studio tour and discover how the nearby desert landscapes have been featured in many films.
DAY 7: Kasbah Ait Benhaddou
The high passes in Africa heading to Marrakech Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou UNESCO World Heritage site, from the 11th century during a time when it held an important position along the trans-Saharan trade route between Marrakech, Ouarzazate, and the southern desert. Follow the narrow streets up to the Granary for a view of the surrounding landscapes where time stops to see the people still live in that age. Heading to the High Atlas mountain range and look out for the highest peak, Mount Toubkal (13,671 feet or 4,167 m). Stop near the top of the Tizi n’Tichka pass (7,415 feet or 2,260 m) to enjoy the views over the mountain range and the Berber villages. As you descend the High Atlas, you will notice a dramatic change in the climate and landscape. Soon you will arrive at the final imperial city, Marrakech. After a long day on the road, you'll be going directly to your hotel and spend the rest of the afternoon as you like. In the early evening, the big square Jemaa el-Fna comes alive with musicians, performers, snake charmers, games, and food stalls that will present for you all kind of food, a full square of entertainment. that will stay your choice to either join the festival alive or choose of the cafes or restaurant where you can enjoy a nice cup of tea watch all the square.
DAY 8: The Red City Marrakech
Welcome to Marrakech known as the red city for its red sandstone walls and building, Marrakech was once an important trading capital for Atlas mountain tribes, and remains an exciting former imperial city. Located north of the Atlas mountain foothills, Marrakech is home to Africa’s busiest square, Jemaa el-Fna where you can have a nice tour in carriage riding by horses or taking pictures with the friendly monkies in the square or maybe having a Hannah tatou from the women in there. Begin exploring Marrakech’s ancient medina, starting with the Koutoubia Mosque and Gardens. Though the mosque cannot be entered by non-muslims, it’s worth checking out its 12th-century foundations and 253 feet (77 m) minaret. Visit the fountains and pools in the adjoining garden. Enjoying your senses as you explore the souks, tucked behind ordinary restaurants and shops. Check out Souk el Attarin, Souk Chouari, and Souk Smata for a selection of spices, woodwork, and babouche (traditional Moroccan slippers). Visit Souk des Tenturier or the dyers’ souk to see how cloth and yarn are dyed using traditional methods. Next, admire the fine example of Moroccan Islamic architecture of the Ben Youssef Madrasa, a 16th-century Koranic school, where you can take pictures of the Islamic architecture on the walls of the school.
DAY 9: leaving Marrakech and departure to your destination
On your last day and that depends on your flight details, you'll explore the Kasbah and area after Jemaa-el fna, and the Saadian Tombs were the heroes of morocco resting in peace, also discover the 500 years old architecture in its construction. Also, you may visit El Badi Palace the sunken gardens of the 17th century as you passing by the mellah to Badi Palace from the 19th century. If there is still time visit Dar Si Said a museum where you can see and enjoy the exhibits of clothing, jewelry, and beautiful decorations made of Cedarwood, and many things to discover.
