The Ancestral Flavor: Mezcal and Gastronomic Tour, We arrive at the "Shluunamx" distillery in the municipality of Santa María Huatulco, 25 minutes from Bahías de Huatulco, where we will venture into the agave trails to learn about the mezcal production process, from cultivation to distillation. This will help us understand the characteristic pearlescent consistency of this ancestral beverage.
After the visit to the maguey cultivation, we will head to a hill with a panoramic view to indulge in a chocolate tasting and admire the beautiful landscape offered by the distillery.
Following the chocolate tasting, we will continue the experience with a sampling of artisanal mezcals. We will savor this ancestral drink accompanied by chapulines, quesillo, and totopos to appreciate its unique flavor and aroma.
To conclude, we will enjoy an exquisite traditional mole accompanied by rice and jugs of seasonal fruit water to complete the authentic gastronomic experience that is lived day by day in our region.
