Overview
We offer you the opportunity to live an unforgettable experience in the Manialtepec Lagoon, observing the wonderful phenomenon of Bioluminescence, which causes the lagoon to illuminate with flashes of light. We can only find this event in three places in Mexico.
Highlights
Description
Bioluminescence + Turtle Release: To start our experience, we will head to Puerto Escondido, where the Bioluminescence will take place at night. However, as the first stop, we will arrive at the beautiful Escobilla Beach, considered a turtle sanctuary due to the arrival of thousands of turtles each year. Here, you will have the wonderful opportunity to release turtles and see them venture into the vast ocean.
We will make a stop at the Zicatela viewpoint to capture an unforgettable photo and then enjoy a refreshing drink on the beach. It is worth mentioning that Zicatela is a beach globally recognized for its strong waves, hosting international surf tournaments.
Next, we head to the impressive Manialtepec Lagoon to witness the fascinating phenomenon of Bioluminescence. We will board a boat to navigate the lagoon and begin the search for this magical phenomenon. Once the phenomenon is located, it will be time to disembark and float in the lagoon, observing how with every movement, the water becomes a luminescent color.
After the exciting experience, you can enjoy delicious regional snacks right on the lagoon to conclude the adventure, if necessary.
