During this six-day sailing cruise, our 40-foot catamaran will become your floating hotel, equipped with all the comforts you need to spend a very pleasant time at sea. For your cruise in Mauritius, I propose a programme that you can tailor to your needs:
Day 1: La Balise - Îlot Bénitier: Our base is located on the west coast of Mauritius, in the estuary, in the heart of the La Balise Marina. Depending on the tide at the time of boarding, you board the boat from the pontoon, or if boarding is not possible due to the tides, you take the dinghy to the catamaran moored in the bay. At around 1 p.m., we set sail for the islet of Bénitier, a small island in the lagoon off the west coast. Once there, you can enjoy the beach before spending a quiet first night on board at anchor.
Day 2: Ilot Bénitier - Turtle Bay: After waking up in this magnificent bay, we head north during breakfast. During the sail, you will have the pleasure of observing dolphins. Once you arrive in Turtle Bay, enjoy the beach and don't miss the opportunity to visit the village. You can also explore the lagoon by snorkelling to discover the riches of the Indian Ocean, before spending the night in the bay.
Day 3: Turtle Bay - Mon Choisy: Wake up to a sublime view. We sail to Mon Choisy over breakfast. Enjoy the beach then return on board for dinner before spending the night at our anchorage in the bay.
Day 4: Mon Choisy - Grand Baie: After breakfast, we arrive on the outskirts of Coin de Mire island, where you can jump into the water for some snorkelling. You can also relax in the sun. A delicious lunch awaits you at midday. In the afternoon, we move to another anchorage in Grand Baie. A major seaside tourist centre, you can enjoy a visit to the town. You'll be back on board for dinner and a night in this magnificent bay.
Day 5: Grand Baie - Tamarin: Heading south! We sail towards Tamarin Bay. On the way, we'll stop for lunch near the Albion cliffs. Then you can enjoy the beach at Tamarin, famous for its surfing. Before spending your last night on board, you can admire the most beautiful sunset on the island!
Day 6: Tamarin - Rivière Noire: To round off your cruise in style, we go to meet the wild dolphins resident on the west coast. After breakfast, we return to the estuary at La Balise marina for disembarkation.
