Amboseli National Park is one of the best destinations for spotting some of Africa's most stunning wildlife. Located at the base of Kilimanjaro, take a day-trip to the park from Nairobi and enjoy a day of wildlife spotting, lunch and swimming.
This will be a busy day, so we’ll hit the road before sun rise. We’ll pick you up at 5:00 am for the drive to the park. Along the way you’ll awaken with the sun as it spreads over the countryside, shining upon the local farms and homesteads. Along our drive you may see the Maasai herders in their colorful shuka wraps, tending to their cattle.
Crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, the Amboseli National Parks is one of Kenya’s most popular parks. The name “Amboseli” comes from a Maasai word meaning “salty dust”, and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah and woodlands.
