7 DAYS TSAVO EAST, AMBOSELI, LAKE NAIVASHA, LAKE NAKURU, MASAI MARA GA

Day 1: MOMBASA – TSAVO EAST (120 kms – Approx. 3 hrs)

Early pick up from your Kenya coast beach resort. Proceed on the inland journey along the Mombasa – Nairobi highway.

The dawn drive takes us to the southern entry point of Tsavo East gate where we stop briefly to refresh. Commence game viewing in search of Elephant, Lion, Cheetah, Zebra, Giraffe, Buffalo, dik -dik Gazelle, and more…. Later freshen up and relax as you await the afternoon game drive when the wild becomes alive after the mid-day heat We shall traverse the Tsavo East Park spotting game and drinking in the scenery. Your experienced safari driver guide takes you through the tracks and points at the animals. The African sunset shall engulf the savanna as we retire for the evening.

Overnight at your Ngulia Safari Lodge or tented camp. What you may see at Tsavo East National Park……. Large mammals include vast herds of dust-red elephant, Rhino, Buffalo, Zebra, Lion, Leopard, Hippo, Crocodiles, Waterbuck, Lesser Kudu, Gerenuk, and Hirola.

Day 2: TSAVO EAST – AMBOSELI (300 km, Approx. 5 hrs)

An early date with nature on another day of your Kenya tour. An early morning exit drive as we head on to the Amboseli National Park. Mid-day finds us at the Amboseli park which lies on the floor of Mount Kilimanjaro. Afternoon game viewing drive. The game at the Amboseli is easy to spot. The majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro offers the ultimate background for both amateur and professional wildlife photography.

Overnight at Kibo Safari Camp or tented camp.

What you may see at Amboseli National Park Elephant, Cheetah, Buffalo, Giraffe, Zebra, Lion, Crocodile, Mongoose, Hyrax, Dik-dik, Lesser Kudu.

Day 3: AMBOSELI – LAKE NAIVASHA ( 340 km – Approx. 7 hrs)

We shall be early again! The sunrise and views of Mount Kilimanjaro peaks from the clouds is dramatic (weather permitting) Depart the Amboseli National Park with an exit game spotting drive. Proceed to the Rift Valley and Lake Naivasha with a lunch stop at Nairobi. Afternoon boat rides to explore the freshwater Rift Valley Lake.

Day 4: LAKE NAIVASHA – LAKE NAKURU (80 kms Approx. 1.5 hrs)

We shall hire bikes and cycle to the nearby Hells Gate National Park where you explore on foot this canyon as you spot small game. Later a short 1 hour drive will take us to the Lake Nakuru National Park. Birdlife abounds with a few flamingos seen together with pelicans and other bird species. The Lake Nakuru National Park is home to the black and white rhino species, warthogs, lions, zebras, giraffes, and many more.

Day 5: LAKE NAKURU- MASAI MARA (290km – Approx. 6 hrs)

An early bird and game viewing drive as you exit the Lake Nakuru National Park. Proceed to the Masai Mara game reserve. Arrive at Masai Mara and commence game viewing drives.

Accommodation: Zebra river camp

Day 6: FULL DAY MASAI MARA

Today shall be a game-viewing extravaganza! Masai Mara Game Reserve remains the most exciting wildlife ecosystem in the Natural world. It is host to the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals than any other wildlife park in the region. The scenic appeal of the tree-studded savannah plains, the moderate climate and the diversity of wild game species make it a one-stop shop for game-viewing activities. We shall traverse the Masai Mara reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing encountering the big five and more of the lesser game. Picnic lunch shall be by the Mara River as we watch hippos & crocodiles or maybe the great migration (July – October)

Day 7: MASAI MARA – NAIROBI (260 kms, Appx. 6 hrs)

Early pre-breakfast game viewing drive. Depart Masai Mara with an exit game viewing drive. Proceed to Nairobi to arrive in the late afternoon.

Transfer to the Nairobi airport at 1830hrs: Depart Nairobi for Mombasa. 1930hrs: Arrive Mombasa Airport. Met at the Mombasa airport and transfer to your Kenya beach resort You can also choose the standard gauge train for Nairobi –Mombasa return journey
