Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

After a thorough safari briefing, you’ll be on your way to the Masai Mara, the land of endless plains and thriving wildlife. Your 4x4 jeep journey will be as comfortable as it is scenic, taking you through stunning Kenyan landscapes en route to the Mara. Upon arrival, you’ll settle in at Rhino Tourist Camp, where your accommodations blend the charm of traditional safari camps with the comforts you crave after a day of travel. Later in the afternoon, it’s time for your first game drive. Here in the Masai Mara, the thrill of spotting lions, elephants, and possibly even elusive leopards will be unforgettable. Your evening back at the camp will be cozy, surrounded by nature’s beauty.

Day 2: Full Day in Masai Mara

Today, prepare for a full day immersed in the natural wonders of the Masai Mara. Our guides are true experts, navigating the plains to find the best spots for witnessing the incredible diversity of the Mara. The chance to spot the Big Five – lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino – makes this day especially exciting. If you’re interested in a truly unique experience, consider an optional hot air balloon safari ($450), where you'll float over the Mara at sunrise, watching wildlife from above as dawn breaks over the savannah. In the evening, unwind back at Rhino Tourist Camp, sharing stories of the day’s adventures around the campfire or over a delicious meal.

Day 3: Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

After a hearty breakfast, you’ll leave the Mara’s captivating landscapes behind and make your way to Lake Nakuru National Park. The morning drive through Kenya’s countryside is a scenic delight, and upon arrival, you’ll check in at Lanet Matfam Resort. Known for its warm hospitality, this resort provides a refreshing stop with cozy rooms, hot showers, and mosquito nets for a restful night’s sleep. In the afternoon, you’ll explore Lake Nakuru, a park famous for its vibrant birdlife and large flamingo populations. This is also one of the best places to spot rhinos in Kenya, making the afternoon game drive both exciting and picturesque.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Aberdares National Park

Today, your journey continues to Aberdares National Park, where you’ll be treated to yet another incredible wildlife experience. Checking in at Tree Tops Hotel is an adventure in itself; this historic lodge offers elevated views of a waterhole where animals frequently visit.
