DAY 1: NAIROBIS=>SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE

Early breakfast, then at around 7.30 a.m. depart from your Nairobi Hotel to Samburu Game Reserve, arriving on time for lunch. After our leisurely lunch break at the camp, relax as we wait for the evening game drive in the Samburu National Reserve.

Samburu is north of the equator and contains rare drought-resistant animal’ species that can go long duration without water. These include the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy Zebras, the Blue-Shanked Somali Ostrich, the Gerenuk Giraffe Gazelle, and the Beisa Oryx. In Samburu, there are also other animals that one can see; these are elephants, lions, and leopards. Overnight-Samburu Simba Camp or Sarova Shaba Lodge (FB)

DAY 2: SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE

After an early breakfast, depart for a game drive in Samburu in search of the rare species in this magnificent landscape of northern Kenya. The morning game drive will cover around 4 hours, then back for lunch. After lunch, relax until 16 hours, then proceed for another evening game drive until 18:hrs. DAY 3: SAMBURUN=>NAKURU

Early breakfast then departs with a game drive on route as we drive to Nakuru. On the way, we shall have a stop at the Equator and proceed to Nyahururu for our lunch break. After lunch,drive through the Kenyan highlands, which are very famous for coffee and tea plantations. We have a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint and another stopover at one of the tea plantations,then proceed to Nakuru. Overnight-Sarova Lion Hill Lodge-Breakfast (FB)

DAY 4: NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, proceed for a morning game drive. After lunch, another game drive will follow until 18. hours. Lake Nakuru Park is famous for the flamingos, over 450 birds', and about 50 species of mammals such as gazelles, zebras, baboons, warthogs, waterbucks, Rothschild giraffe buffalos, lions, and white and black rhinos. DAY 5: LAKE NAKURU=>MASAI MARA

After breakfast, proceed to Masai Mara, arriving on time for lunch. After lunch, relax until 16 hours; thereafter, proceed for an evening game drive in the Mara. Masai Mara is renowned for its higher animal concentration, not forgetting the famous animal migration that takes place every year. Black-manned lions, elephants, and buffaloes can be seen, though luck is essential for spotting black rhinos and leopards. The Mara is a home for various plains games, including the wildebeest, antelopes, impalas, zebras, and many others. As we are in the Mara, with the right season and chance, we may see the gnus as they cross the Mara River. Overnight-Mara Sarova Lodge (FB)

DAY 6.MASAI MARA

After breakfast, proceed with a picnic lunch for a full-day game drive in Mara. Masai Mara is renowned for its higher animal concentration, not forgetting the famous animal migration that takes place every year. Black-manned lions, elephants, and buffaloes can be seen, though luck is essential for spotting black rhinos and leopards. The Mara is a home for various plains games, including the wildebeest, antelopes, impalas, zebras, and many others. DAY 7: MASAI MARA=>LAKE NAIVASHA

After breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha, arriving on time for lunch. After lunch, proceed for a boat ride at the lake in search of hippos and other wildlife. Overnight-Sopa Lodge. (FB)

DAY 8: NAIVASHA=>AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, depart for Amboseli National Park, arriving there in time for lunch. After our leisurely lunch break, proceed for our evening game drive until 18 hrs. This park is the home of elephants, wildebeests (Gnu), buffalos, gazelles, lions, cheetahs, monkey families, and rare bird species. In the early evening, the clouds cleared, exposing the snow-capped dome of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Overnight-Serena Lodge or equivalent. (FB)

DAY 9: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Before breakfast, proceed for an early game drive in the park until 9 a.m., and then back to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, relax until the evening for another evening game drive. Overnight-Serena Lodge or equivalent. (FB)

DAY 10: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK=>NAIROBI JKIA AIRPORT

After breakfast, depart for Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon and catch your evening flight back home (BL)
