There is an approximate distance of 333 Km to Tsavo National Park from Nairobi while it is 160 Km away from the Mombasa.
The magnificent size of this park makes it one of the biggest parks in Kenya. Mutanda Rock and a variety of other animals like kudu, zebra, waterbuck, elephant, leopard, and elephant make this park one the popular destination for tourists of all kinds. Large herds of Red Elephants remind us about the giant creature of nature. Some 500 species of birds include mainly kestrels, ostrich, and buzzards. Overnight stay and dinner will be served at Zomeni Lion Hill Lodge or the Voi Wildlife Lodge. Lunch and dinner are part of the tour package.

A huge area is covered by the Tsavo National Park. Park has an area of 9,065 sq. Km, 240 Km from Nairobi while 255 Km from the Mambosa. A variety of habitats is found in the park and animals can be observed sitting at high altitudes. Quality, as well as the quantity of the animals, can be seen on wooden grasslands, forests, lakes, and mountains, etc. This park has gained its name from a notorious event called “Man-Eaters of Tsavo” at the start of the century when men were eating lions during the construction of a railway line between Kenya-Uganda. Given the publicity of this event, it appeared in the movie “Ghost and the Darkness”. Shetani Lava Flow and Chaimu are two other places worth to see. Quality and variety of wildlife including 600 species of birds are present in the park.
The game drive in the park is exotic and adventurous along the East & West Tsavo Safari. Watching animals like cheetah, rhino, zebra, hyrax, elephant, giraffe, buffalo and porcupine has added into the beauty of this park. Mount Kilimanjaro's scenery is unique to its own nature. Overnight stay and lunch will be Rhino Valley Lodge or Ngulia Safari Lodge.
