Tsavo East National Park,nicknamed “Theatre of the Wild," It is well known for its large herds of red-dusted elephants!
It's the largest and oldest national park in Kenya, covering a total land area of 13,747 square kilometers. It was established in April 1948.
It’s the home of the longest plateau in the world, covering a distance of over 300 kilometers. The Yatta Plateau is a key tourist attraction in Tsavo East National Park. The park hosts a large number of permanent residents, especially the large mammals that include lions, elephants, and buffalo. Other big mammals are found at the park, including crocodiles and hippos, which can be seen at Lugards Falls. waterbucks,Lesser Kudu, Gerenuk, Zebras, Giraffes, and many more. Tsavo East has also prolific birds life, featuring over 500 bird species recorded across the the park.

Day 1: Mombasa – Tsavo East National Park.
Early Morning pick up at 6:30 am from your respective hotel then drive to Tsavo East National Park arriving on time for the late morning game drive as we spot Red Elephants.Thereafter, check in at the Lodge or camp for Lunch. After lunch settle in and rest during the hottest part of the day. After tea time, proceed for a second game drive through the park until 18hrs in search of the residents animals ei Buffaloes, Giraffes, Gazelles, Waterbucks, Leopards, Zebras, different bird species, not forgetting the so called 'man-eater-the Lions of Tsavo.
All meals and overnight at Tsavo East Sentrim Camp or equivalent.(FB)
Day 2: Tsavo East National Park
After breakfast, proceed for a morning game drive, which will take us up to the Luggards Falls. The falls are named after the first British governor of East Africa, the British protectorate. This spectacular natural feature is found in the park, where the Galana River plunges into gorges,creating a multi-colored rock landscape that is spectacular, magnificent, and evocative! Other attractions found along the river are hippos and crocodiles. Thereafter, go back to the lodge or camp for lunch. After lunch,relax until 16 hrs., and in the evening, game drive will follow until 18 hrs.
All meals and overnight at Sentrim Camp or Ashnil Aruba Lodge (FB)
Day 3 – Tsavo East=>Mombsa
Before breakfast, embark on a short game drive in the park—this is the best time of day to spot big cats. Thereafter, return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast,check-out and drive towards Mombasa with last lunch en route,arriving at your hotel at around 17 hrs.(BL)
