Wasini Dolphin Sunset Dhow Cruise

From Mombasa - Diani or Chale Island Hotels and drive to Shimoni village south coast. Leave Mombasa Hotel at 08h00 till late evening and Leave Diani hotel by 10h00 till late evening. We take this as a special arrangement trip for families or special groups going same trip but with extras in a special way. Dhow Boat to Kisite Island from SHIMONI KWS floating jetty with looking for dolphins on the way. Head to Kisite Island for a guided snorkeling tour to see the colourful fish and corals. May swim with the dolphins when seen in the park area. Refreshments provided -Snacks and soft drinks, Coconut juice etc. Spend 2/3 hours enjoying the crystal clear waters, playing and relaxing at the Sandbank if tide allows and enjoy more. Then here after, Cruise to lower Mpunguti Island Marine reserve to see the endemic crabs only found there. The giant land coconut crabs. Off the boat, walk on the reef and go to the island to watch this island treasure crabs. This are very strong crabs which can easily break a coconut with its jaws. Enjoy the walk and the trail, then back to the boat. Have lunch on board if weather is good or go to Wasini Island and have lunch in the tranquil waters. We can do Snorkeling again at local conserved Wasini reef and here is often to see the sea turtles and some other species. Go over Wasini Island village over to the coral garden boardwalk,see mangroves and old corals, old Shirazi mosques and get some extra history you never knew. Boat ride to Shimoni village for the slave cave tour, then board the boat again and sail along the channel while the sun turns orange. Enjoy the sundown with drinks and snacks, may swim while the boat slowly moved by the latin sail escorting the sun retire. By the time sun is set we turn back to Shimoni for the safe ride back home / hotel for next personal plans. It's a full day full of fun !!
