The highlight of the trip was encountering playful dolphins, which was simply mesmerizing. The crew on board were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making the journey even more enjoyable. The boat service provided was top-notch, ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride throughout. Sea turtles, octopus, eels, rays, and a multitude of fish - even dolphins swimming all around us when we were swimming back to the boat. Although the coral was as colorful as I have seen elsewhere, its shape and texture we really interesting. The guide in the water with small groups of us would dive down to point out something we probably would not have otherwise noticed. He was also very helpful to me while I was having some trouble with my mask leaking. They had lots of equipment, including nearsighted masks for those of us who are somewhat blind. We appreciated the free transportation from our hotel. The lunch provided was a really nice experience - good food served buffet style with entertaining descriptions of each dish by the waitstaff dressed in traditional attire. Booking this trip was easy. We took a trip to Kisite Marine Park. The company was first class all the way and it’s a highly recommended trip if you make it to South Coast. The marine park was riddled with sea life; dolphins, turtles, every kind of tropical fish and so much coral and coral life. It’s a protected Marine Park and was totally worth every minute. The trip was in authentic Swahili Dhows, the lunch on Wasini Island was exceptional and all the crew and staff were top notch.  Hide review

A huge thank you to Juma, who picked me up from my accommodation;Shaksy that was fantastic leading the tour, giving information, and making sure everyone felt safe; and the crew that looked after the boat. I went on the boat trip solo and felt super secure. We joined up with a few other groups for the trip so I met other travellers and spent time with the whole team. We saw dolphins, sea turtles and enormous fishes, the lunch was brilliant, and overall the day was among my favourite of my Kenya trip. I will recommend Shaksy's company to all my friends!
