Description
The quad excursion is ideal for those who want to discover the nature of Etna through living
an off-road adventure. The excursion takes place throughout the entire itinerary on a quad,
automatic and easy to drive, it can safely transport up to a maximum of two
people, who will be responsible for their own vehicle.
During the journey we will cross an eruptive fracture, driving between long fields of
lava and black volcanic sand and we will visit one of the many beauties that
distinguish Etna: a lava flow cave. We will stop then
see a typical construction of the area, "U PAGGHIARU", similar to the Sardinian nuraghi or i
Apulian trulli.
Continuing along the journey we will cross the Etna broom forest,
we will descend along lava flow channels, passing between lunar landscapes and
“dagale”, wooded islands surrounded by petrified lava.
We will cross a forest of Etna pine trees, following the bed of a stream
dry, where the landscape is characterized by the alternation of lava and woods.
We will then return to the starting point and finish the Quad Tour
