The Golden Triangle is a popular tourist circuit that takes in Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur. If you look at a map, these three cities form a roughly equilateral triangle, which has been named “golden” due to the abundance of cultural and historical sights that can be found there.
Delhi is the starting of the Golden Triangle, which is popular for the marvelous architecture of historical monuments, Mughal gardens, and memorials. The next stepping stone is the "home of heritage sites - Agra" which fascinates travelers with the astounding beauty of the Taj Mahal which is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Then move towards the third leg of the Golden Triangle and explore the pink city - Jaipur that perfectly showcases the hospitality of Rajasthan.
Besides the historic aspects of the tour discover the cultural and spiritual treasures of these great mythical cities. Subsequently, inspired by the book "Eat, Pray, Love" you will experience the unique experience of a retreat in an ashram in Rishikesh, considered the world capital of yoga, on the banks of the Ganges at the foot of the Himalayas. Begin your awakening by taking it slow in the foothills of the Himalayas at a stunning retreat overlooking Rishikesh. Day 01: 09 March: Arrive in Delhi by X FLIGHT (Please advise flight details) (No Meals)
On arrival at Delhi airport meet and greet by our representative and will be transferred to hotel.
Delhi: is one of the oldest continually inhabited cities in the world. Having been the capital of several empires in ancient India, Delhi was a major city in the old trade routes from northwest India to the Gangetic Plains. As the seat of the Government of India, New Delhi houses important offices of the federal government, including the Parliament of India.

Day 02: 10March: Delhi – Agra (205 Kms (Approx.)/05 Hrs – Drive) (B)
Post Breakfast 0830 Hrs.: Check out from the hotel and drive to visit AGRA.
Upon arrival Check in at the hotel.
Lunch will be served in a local Restaurant/hotel.
Afternoon, visit THE World-famous Monument (THE TAJ MAHAL).
Taj Mahal: The Taj Mahal, the monument of love and affection is everything that has been said about it and more. Taking 22 years and 20,000 men to build, the white marble was quarried 200 miles away and was transported to the site by a fleet of 1000 elephants.
After visiting, return to the hotel.

Day 03: 11 March: Agra Sightseeing (B) – Taj Mahal remains closed on Friday.
Breakfast at the hotel.
After Breakfast proceed to visit Agra Fort.
Agra Fort - the seat and the stronghold of the Mughal Empire under successive generations
Agra is known for its fabulous marble handicrafts and soft stone inlay work. The Mughals were great patrons of Arts and Crafts. Evening free for shopping cum leisure activities.
We have a plan to have lunch at a local restaurant or hotel and then visit the Baby Taj, also known as Itmad-ud-Daulah. It is the first Mughal tomb built entirely of marble and decorated with Pietra dura semi-precious stones. The tomb is surrounded by a beautiful garden with intersecting walkways and water bodies, making it an ideal place for a leisurely stroll. Agra is famous for its marble stone carvings and various artifacts, so we will also visit a factory or place where these artifacts are manufactured and sold.

Day 04: 12 March: Agra – Jaipur (By Surface 242 Kms/4 Hrs) (B/L/D)
Proceed to Jaipur after breakfast (242 Km/ 4 Hrs.). Check-in at the hotel upon arrival.
After Lunch, proceed to Jaipur.

Jaipur: is the capital and largest city of the Indian state of Rajasthan in Northern India. It was founded on 18 November 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the ruler of Amber, after whom the city is named. Jaipur is known as the Pink City of India and well known for its beautiful carpets, enameled ornaments, precious and semi-precious stones, brass ornaments and many other arts and crafts”.
After Lunch visit to the Maharaja's City Palace and Jantar Mantar and Pink city of Jaipur.
City Palace: It is the principal residence of the former ruling family and is known for its stunning architecture. It also includes museums, courtyards, and gardens.
Jantar Mantar: The Jantar Mantar in Jaipur is an outstanding example of the coming together of observation of the universe, society, and beliefs. It provides an outstanding testimony of the ultimate culmination of the scientific and technical conceptions of the great observatory devised in the Medieval world. It bears witness to very ancient cosmological, astronomical, and scientific traditions shared by a major set of Western, Middle Eastern, Asian, and African religions, over more than fifteen centuries.
Evening free for shopping cum leisure activities. Jaipur’s colorful market offers a great break to stop and shop on your tour. While moving through the markets, you will come across the vivacious culture of this region.
Jaipur is the perfect place to shop for Handicrafts, antiques, jewelry, gems, pottery, carpets, textiles, metal work, and leatherware. Today you will visit jewelry, and gems work, and go through the shop to buy some products for yourself or loved ones.
After shopping proceed to the hotel.

Day 05: 13 March: Jaipur Sightseeing (B)
Post breakfast, drive through the Palace of Winds (Hawa Mahal) to take beautiful pictures and then after some photo shoot, drive to visit Amber Fort with an elephant ride “This massive fort-palace complex built in hybrid Hindu-Muslim style dates back to Raja Man Singh.
Amer Fort is approximately 10 Km from Jaipur and is the ancient capital of Jaipur. Fort Palace here was constructed in 1652 by King Mansingh and later extended and completed by King Jai Singh.
After visiting Amer Fort, descend the hill on the Jeep and proceed to the Handicraft Centre, where you will see block printing One may buy handicrafts, as Jaipur is famous for handicrafts, crafts, carpets, etc.
After shopping, drive to enjoy your Lunch.
After Lunch, in the afternoon, proceed to visit the Albert Hall Museum, Bypass Patrika Gate, and Birla Temple and time free for relaxation.
Evening 0730 Hrs: Evening proceeds for dinner on the outskirts of the city.

Day 06: 14 March Jaipur - Holi Festival + Drive to Delhi (250 Kms/05 Hrs)
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to a private house to celebrate Holi, where you can enjoy Holi songs and dances. The festival will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM. The following items are included:
• Kurta "pajama" (white Indian-style shirt and pants)
• Coloured herbal powder
• Bottle of beer and wine (Indian brand)
• Music and dance
• A light lunch
A light lunch will be served during the Holi Festival. After the festival, you will return to the hotel to freshen up and change. You will have the rest of the day free for relaxation and to check out before being transferred back to Delhi.
1430 Hrs.: Drive back to Delhi.
Upon arrival at Delhi, check in at the hotel.

Day 07: 15 March: Delhi -Rishikesh (250 kms/05 hrs.)
After having breakfast at the hotel, we will proceed to Rishikesh. Rishikesh is located in the foothills of the Himalayas in northern India, and it is known as the "Gateway to the Garhwal Himalayas" and the "Yoga Capital of the World". It is considered a pilgrimage town and is regarded as one of the holiest places for Hindus. Sages and saints have been visiting Rishikesh since ancient times to meditate in search of higher knowledge.
On arrival check in at the hotel.
Lunch at Leisure and Dinner cum stay overnight at hotel.
Day 07:16 March Rishikesh
Begin your day with a morning yoga and meditation session at the hotel followed by breakfast. Then, embark on a sightseeing tour of Rishikesh. Explore the local market where you can find a variety of items such as religious pictures, Om-embossed scarves and t-shirts, steel pots/pans, and religious necklaces. While en route to the Himalayas, you will see the impressive Ram Jhula, an iconic suspension bridge built in 1986 that runs across the sacred River Ganga, connecting Shivananda Nagar to Swargashram. You will also visit Lakshman Jhula, a famous hanging bridge across the river Ganga that connects two villages. Another stop on the tour is the hallowed spot called ‘Vasishta Gufta’ - an ancient cave where the Hindu sage and yogi Vasishta practiced spirituality. This cave, located on the banks of the Ganga River, is a popular place for meditation lovers. In the evening, participate in the sunset Aarti at Parmarth Niketan Ashram, where you can enjoy and partake in religious singing with Ashram students. Get involved with the actual Aarti and delight in the phenomenal sight of lights, the aura, the chanting, and a special feel – perfect photo opportunity.

Day 08: 17 March: Rishikesh – TENTED ACCOMMODATION.
Start your day with a yoga and meditation session at the hotel, followed by breakfast. After that, head out for a sightseeing tour of Rishikesh, where you will visit various ashrams and stroll through the spiritual city's streets.
In the afternoon, you can check out from your hotel and move to a tent/campsite (as per your preference). In the evening, you can either walk to Ram Jhula to participate in the Ganga Aarti or stay at the campsite for the night.
The sunset Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Niketan is a significant attraction that draws hundreds of visitors from different cultures, languages, religions, and walks of life. You don't need to understand Hindi or Sanskrit to be moved by the aarti's power, which transcends borders and boundaries to touch the heart of every person.
If you choose to stay at the campsite in the evening, you can enjoy a bonfire, local dance, and dinner. Please note that the camps are basic and provide an adventurous kind of experience.

Day 09: 18 March: Rishikesh (CAMP) -Delhi (250 Kms / Drive) (B)
Morning yoga and meditation session at CAMP followed by a nature walk. Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Rishikesh and then Delhi. Check-in at the hotel upon arrival in Delhi.
Dinner and Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 10: 19 March: Delhi - International Airport (B)
After Breakfast, at 0830 Hrs, check out and proceed to Delhi sightseeing.
Visit: Proceed for the guided city tour of New Delhi, photo-stop at India Gate, and drive past Parliament House, President House & Government Buildings.
Old Delhi. Here visits to Raj Ghat - the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi – Father of the Nation, Drive pass by Jama Mosque (the largest mosque in India) including a cycle-rickshaw ride at Chandni Chowk (the walled city), drive pass through Red Fort (once the most opulent Fort and Palace of the Mughal Empire).
Lunch will be served in a local Restaurant if booked through us.
Later after Lunch proceed to visit AKSHARDHAM TEMPLE.
After the visit, drive to Delhi International Airport to connect the flight to your onward destination.
Dinner will be served in a local city restaurant (If interested) and then move to Airport. Check-in time at the International Airport by 03 Hrs before your departure flights.
