WORRY DOLL TOUR
This tour begins with a ride on the colorful and chaotic chicken bus in Antigua Guatemala, an experience you cannot miss if you want to understand Guatemalan everyday life. You will arrive in San Lorenzo el Cubo. Walking around town, our guide will tell you all about life there and Guatemala in general on your way to your first destination.
Niños de Guatemala School: El Porvenir provides education to nearly 200 children who would otherwise not have been able to go to school. You will get to tour the school, meet the students, and learn more about NDG, our programs and what education is like in Guatemala.
Local Workshop: You’ll walk towards the home of one local family to learn how to make your own Worry Doll! On this trip, our guide and the family will tell you more about the worry dolls’ legend and history while showing you step by step how to make your own, using local materials.
