4X4 LAND ROVER SAFARI: ROADS OF WINE OIL AND CRETAN TRADITION

On this route, we will explore the central side of Crete following the paths of Cretan history, where we will learn about the traditional way of life and learn all about the production of the famous Cretan olive oil, as well as Cretan wines. We will visit the shepherd's house, participating in the cheese production process and, finally, we will enjoy an incredible meal in a traditional tavern, preparing Cretan sweets ourselves. We will get to know rural Crete by observing locals going about their daily activities, visiting traditional villages. Our first stop will be at the Aposelemis dam, where we will see the submerged village of SFENTYLI up close. We will then visit one of the best olive oil farms in the region and see how CRETANO OLIVE OIL is produced. Then we will cross a beautiful trail with an incredible view, collect herbs and walk with Cretan goats. At the next stop, we will enjoy Raki with local delicacies in a traditional village, where we will have the opportunity to admire the architecture and see the way of life of the inhabitants. We will then arrive at one of the best wineries in central Crete, where we will learn about the production process of Cretan wines, tasting them with local products. With beautiful images, we will head to the place where we will see animals and participate in the production of authentic cheese. We will then enjoy our meal in one of the most traditional taverns in the region, making sweets, which is a truly unique experience.
