Day 1: Arrival in Accra

Upon arrival at Kotoka International Airport in Accra, you will be warmly greeted and transferred to your hotel (ACCRA CITY). After settling in, take the rest of the day to relax and recover from your journey. This downtime allows you to acclimate to the local climate and prepare for the exciting adventures ahead.

Day 2: Adventure and Exploration at Legon Botanical Gardens

After breakfast, we head to Legon Botanical Gardens for a day filled with outdoor activities. Our visit begins with bird watching, where we’ll explore the lush gardens and observe a variety of bird species in their natural habitat. Next, we’ll enjoy a tranquil canoeing experience on the serene lake within the gardens, offering a unique perspective of the surrounding nature. Following canoeing, we’ll embark on an exhilarating canopy walk, walking among the treetops and taking in panoramic views of the botanical garden below. For those seeking an adrenaline rush, the High Rope Course provides a thrilling challenge with various obstacles and aerial routes. After a day of engaging activities and natural beauty, we’ll return to our hotel to relax and reflect on our adventurous day.

Day 3 Nature, Adventure, and Relaxation in Aburi and Safari Valley

After breakfast, we travel from our hotel to our first site, Aburi Botanical Gardens. Here, we’ll spend the morning exploring the serene and historic gardens, discovering exotic plants, and majestic trees, and learning about the rich botanical history of the region. Afterwards, we'll enjoy a delicious lunch at a nearby restaurant before heading to our next adventure: quad biking. We’ll spend the afternoon riding through rugged trails and lush landscapes, taking in breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and valleys. Following our quad biking adventure, we’ll make our way to Safari Valley Resort, where we can relax and unwind in the tranquil environment, exploring the resort's beautiful grounds or simply enjoying the peaceful ambience. After dinner at the resort, we'll return to our hotel for a restful night’s sleep.

Day 4: Exploring Adome Bridge and Cruising on the Volta Lake

After breakfast, we set out to visit the iconic Adome Bridge, an engineering marvel that spans the Volta River. We’ll take in the stunning views of the surrounding landscapes and the river as we walk across the bridge, capturing memorable photos of this impressive structure.

After exploring the bridge, we’ll continue our adventure with a relaxing boat cruise on the serene Volta Lake. As we glide across the tranquil waters, we’ll enjoy the scenic beauty of the lake, surrounded by lush greenery and rolling hills and have lunch on the boat while we enjoy. This leisurely cruise offers a perfect opportunity to unwind and take in the peaceful ambience of one of Ghana’s most beautiful natural landscapes. After the cruise, we’ll head back to our hotel, reflecting on the day’s experiences and enjoying a well-deserved rest.

Day 5: Discovering Akosombo Dam and Vume Pottery Village

After breakfast, we embark on a journey to the Akosombo Dam, one of Ghana’s most significant landmarks and a key source of hydroelectric power for the country. During our visit, we’ll learn about the history and engineering behind this massive structure while taking in panoramic views of the Volta River and surrounding areas.

Following our exploration of the dam, we continue to Vume, a quaint village renowned for its traditional pottery. Here, we’ll witness the skilled artisans at work, shaping clay into beautiful pots and other handcrafted items. We’ll have the chance to learn about the ancient techniques used in the pot-making process, and even try our hand at creating our piece of pottery. After a day filled with learning and creativity, we’ll return to our hotel, enriched by the cultural experiences of the day.

Day 6: Return to Accra with a Visit to Boti Falls

After breakfast, we begin our journey back to Accra, but not before making a stop at the breathtaking Boti Falls. Nestled in the Eastern Region, these twin waterfalls offer a picturesque and serene setting. We’ll take a refreshing walk through the lush forest, leading to the falls, where we can relax and admire the natural beauty of the cascading water.

After enjoying the tranquillity of Boti Falls, we continue our journey to Accra. Upon arrival, we’ll check into our hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure, reflecting on the adventures of the past week and enjoying a well-deserved rest.

Day 7: Nightlife on Osu Oxford Street and Live Music at Zen Garden/+233

After a leisurely day, we’ll prepare for an exciting evening exploring the vibrant nightlife of Osu Oxford Street, one of Accra’s most popular and lively areas. We’ll stroll through the bustling street, soaking in the energetic atmosphere, and perhaps do some last-minute shopping or enjoy local street food. As the night progresses, we’ll head to Zen Garden or +233 Jazz Bar & Grill, two of Accra’s top spots for live music. Here, we’ll enjoy an evening of live performances, surrounded by a lively crowd, as we unwind with good music, delicious food, and refreshing drinks. It’s the perfect way to wrap up our stay, experiencing the best of Accra’s nightlife before heading back to our hotel for the night.

Day 8: Departure and Shopping at the Art Center

On our final day in Accra, we’ll start with some last-minute shopping at the Art Center, a bustling market known for its wide variety of traditional Ghanaian crafts, artwork, and souvenirs. It’s the perfect place to pick up unique items to remember our trip or gifts for loved ones.

After shopping, we’ll return to the hotel to check out and prepare for our departure. With our bags packed and memories made, we’ll head to the airport, ready to depart after a fulfilling and enriching journey through Ghana.
