Highlights
Description
Hello everyone!
I would like to show you around in Germany's capital! The tour is an open sightseeing walk on the low-coast basis with a local guide: me; and much to talk about! The tour suites total Berlin newbies as well as regular frequants who just did not have the time yet to fasten their knowledge about what is what in the city center. I will pass on to you valid information about the founding of the city, show you the oldest buildings and tell you about all the good stuff and the bad stuff that has happened here in Berlin. After three hours you should be fit in knowing about the basic Berlin-facts: history, architecture, the political- as well as cultural life that takes place around Berlin's most pompous streets.
At the end of the tour I will test your knowledge to see what you can remember!
Anyone who just wants to take a walk in an open group is also welcome, everyone is welcome!

Itinerary
What time is it your hometown? We start at Alexanderplatz, at the world time clock to be exact. We will pass the TV Tower and make our way to the Berlin Cathedral (Berliner Dom) and explore the lust gardens. They are very important for the German democracy of today. The we continue towards the Fredrick Street (Friedrichstraße) train station, one of the most historically important and original stations of the city. We then promenade on the Spree River's side to find the political district: the Reichstag (today really called Bundestag), Ministry of the Cancellor as well as some other political buildings. We then continue to the Brandenburg Gate and take our group picture there before I will give you some time to explore a bit by yourselves at the Holocaust Memorial. Our last stop will be Bebelplatz before I take you back to Rathaus bridge from where you can decide if you'd rather like to round up your experience visiting a museum or sit down in one of Nikolai Quarter's historic restaurants to enjoy a hot (curry) sausage and a good Berlin beer!
