The guide, Paulo ??, was less helpful and while initially he updated all the passengers equally, he quickly pandered to the Italian guests, spending much more of his time in conversation with them and providing much more information in Italian than in either English or Spanish. Non-Italians were then virtually ingnored for the remainder of the trip. The timings for the different destinations was unsatisfactory. The first stop at a local food market in Santa Cruz had the potential to be interesting and a possible location for a coffee but was limited to about 20 minutes before we were herded off to a tour of old buildings of limited interest and with only limited information given by our guide on their cultural or historic interest - this section of the tour was quite boring. In contrast to the stop at the food market an excessive about of time was alloted to the stop in La Laguna where we were left pretty much to our own devices for a couple of hours. We found a lovely patisserie for lunch and then wandered about aimlessly but had too much time on our hands at this stop. Our departure was delayed by the failure of three passengers to return to the bus...we were eventually reunited with them by virtue of a lengthy detour to Santa Cruz on our return leg of the trip. Better management of the stop in La Laguna might have avoided this inconvenience. The final part of the trip to the semi-tropical laurel forest was very worthwhile with expansive and impressive views and some heroic driving by Ignatio who then gave us most comfortable and speedy return to our respective hotels in Costa Adeje.  Hide review

We only visited 1 winery, lunch was pretty disappointing (in what seemed a converted garage) and no context provided about the wines served with lunch. Time at the 1242 winery was enjoyable and informative whilst tasting some good wines.  Hide review

Instead had no winery visit but went straight to restaurant for half a sandwich, 2 small pieces of cheese, 2 croquettes and a plate of lentils to share between 4 people with 3 small glasses of wine. Then effectively had 75 mins to kill on the mountain to wait for the sun to set. Stargazing was fantastic, the astronomer was excellent but be warned it’s very cold. We had traffic delays and due to no winery visit we arrived on the mountain far too early. If there is no winery visit pick up should be 4pm rather than 2.30pm.  Hide review

The meal falls short of the advertised dinner, comprising 4 small tapas dishes, leaving us unexpectedly hungry upon return at 2130. The vineyard/restaurant seemed capable of providing more for others, including our guide! 2. The tour is too early. Darkness was only truly established towards the end of our visit which undermined the observation. 3. The sunset experience dominates the trip. We arrived at the observation site nearly an hour in advance and then waited more for some darkness to allow stargazing. I suggest a later start than 230/3pm, with sunset at the restaurant site, before moving on to the stargazing.  Hide review

Clean Bus and was very good ?

Buses are old and not in good condition. There was a smog coming from the brakes. We stopped and we hoped the new bus is coming.... Show full review ➤ Buses are old and not in good condition. I don’t travel well and the treat was recommended as good for those in this category because the Diamont ‘glides over the waves’ . This motion was only apparent on our 15 min way home. We spent the first hour bobbing up and and down chugging out to the chosen spot. Not pleasant (I don’t think I was the only one feeling ill) with no commentary from the staff, completely lacking any enthusiasm or chat. We completely understand the lack of dolphins and whales which the driver explained. but the trip was poor and deffinately not worth the 55 euros each that we paid. No safety elements mentioned. We really wanted to enjoy and be positive but just not up to scratch.  Hide review

However the coach and driver commented about how they had been waiting for us and now they could go. There where a few more pick ups and all together there and back about 4 hours travelling. The park itself isnt cheap for whats on show .Many animals especially in the rain take shelter so you don't see them. Also the guide maps and signage are poor some animals on the signs are not on the maps and some of the signs do not clearly indicate which way to go. It was good if you haven't been to this kind of place before but have been to better  Hide review
