The city boasts a remarkable collection of Art Deco architecture that gained popularity in the 1920s. Many of its buildings showcase stunning Art Deco architectural wonders, including the Roman Catholic cathedral, St. Mary Coptic church, Al Khulafa al Rashedin, and the vibrant Market featuring a variety of goods such as vegetables, spices, souvenirs, and Medeber (a recycling depot), as well as the iconic Fiat Tagliero building.
