Abu Simbel Tour & Aswan - Private Day Tour
Taking the Abu Simbel Tour you will arrive at Abu Simbel by airplane. Our tour guide will take you from your accommodation in Cairo or Giza to the airport. From here, you will fly to Aswan and then drive with your private tour guide towards the main place of attraction which is the Temple of Queen Nefertari and the sun temple of King Ramses II.
These temples were actually discovered in 1813. At that time, these were totally covered with sand. The Egyptian government and UNESCO, later on, moved these temples in 1960 away from the River Nile so that flooding from it could not damage these temples. These were built by the Ramses II for his own glory to showcase the decisive victory against the enemies which he had in the battle of Kadesh. Then right on the northern side of this temple, you would notice the Nefertari temple which was also constructed by Ramses II for his favorite wife Nefertari. At that time, he had at least 200 wives and concubines.
As soon as you will complete your tour of these two magnificent places, you will be taken back to Aswan to spend an amazing afternoon.
Later on, at the end of Abu Simbel Tour, you fly back to Cairo then transferred back to the Hotel.
