Day 1 Arrival in Cairo, Egypt

Arrival at Cairo International Airport. Meet and assist by our representative of “Egypt Best Vacations” who will help you through the arrival and visa regulations. Transfer to your hotel for free time.

Day 2 Giza Great Pyramids, Sphinx and Saqqara

Your actual Egypt 15-day bus tour (Egypt Hidden Gems) just begins right now.

Today, you will explore the Giza Plateau. Today’s tour includes the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure with the great Sphinx. The only ancient wonder which still exists (Khufu’s pyramid) awaits you. Are you ready to explore it from the inside?

Today you will learn about the history of the pyramids, how they were built, and why they were built. Then on to the first pyramid in history, the Step Pyramid of King Djoser at Saqqara.

Day 3 Alexandria highlights

Drive to the beautiful City of Alexandria, the capital city of Egypt during the Greco-Roman period. Your tour includes the famous Roman Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, Pompey’s Pillar, the Citadel of Qaitbay, and the Library of Alexandria from the outside.

Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant, then drive back to Cairo.

Day 4 Egyptian Museum, Saladin Citadel and Khan El-Khalili

Explore the fabulous contents of the historical Egyptian Museum at Tahrir Square in Cairo. Thousands of artifacts from all periods of Egyptian history are displayed on the two floors of the museum.

From the museum to the Citadel of the Sunni Muslim leader Saladin, which was built in 1172 to defend Cairo against the Crusaders. The White Mosque of Mohammed Ali Pasha is a prominent feature of the Citadel.

You will finish your tour today at the historical bazaar of Khan El-Khalili, the largest bazaar in the Middle East.

Day 5 Meidum - El-Minya

Drive from your hotel in Cairo toward Meidum, to visit the first pyramid of Pharaoh Senferu, father of Khufu. From Meidum, you will drive toward El-Minya to Visit Ashmunein and Tuna El-Gabal on the west bank. Then on to your hotel in El-Minya.

Day 6 El-Minya - Abydos

Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Drive to the tombs of the Middle Kingdom at Bani Hassan, then proceed to Tell Amarna, the City of Akhenaton, where Tutankhamun was born. From Tell Amarna, you will drive to Abydos to overnight there.

Day 7 Abydos - Dendera - Luxor

Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Visit the Temple of Seti I, the Osirion, the Temple of Ramses II, and Shunet Ez-Zabib at Abydos. Drive from Abydos to the Temple of Hathor at Dendera. Then drive to your hotel in Luxor.

Day 8 Luxor East Bank

Visit Luxor East Bank which includes the Temple of Karnak, the Luxor Temple, and the Luxor Museum. Back to your hotel for a free evening.

Day 9 Balloon ride - Luxor West Bank

Early wake up for the sunrise balloon ride over the west bank of Luxor (a breakfast box is required). Your balloon will land on the west bank. You will then start your tour to the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of the female pharaoh Hatshepsut, Habu Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon.

Back to your hotel for a free evening.

Day 10 Luxor West Bank (2)

Today, you will return back to the west bank of Luxor to visit the Valley of the Queens, the Valley of the Artisans at Deir El-Madina, Tombs of the Nobles at Sheikh Abdel-Qurna, and the Temple of Ramesseum.

Back to your hotel for a free evening.

Day 11 Edfu - Kom Ombo - Aswan

Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Drive to the most intact temple in Egypt, the Temple of Horus in Edfu, then proceed to the twin Temple of Horus and Sobek at Kom Ombo.

Drive from Kom Ombo to your hotel in Aswan.

Day 12 Abu Simbel Temples

Drive to the phenomenal Temples of Ramses II, and his beautiful wife Nefertari at Abu Simbel. Drive back to your hotel in Aswan. Free evening.

Day 13 Aswan highlights - Fly back to Cairo

Explore the highlights of the beautiful City of Aswan, the High Dam, the beautiful Temple of Isis at Philae Island, and the granite quarry of the Unfinished Obelisk.

Transfer to Aswan Airport to fly back to Cairo. Transfer from Cairo Airport to your hotel.

Day 14 Free day

Free day at the hotel.

Day 15 Fly home
