7-day tour to Cairo and Alexandria

Day 1 Arrival at Cairo airport. Meet and assist at the airport then transfer to the hotel

Day 2 The Great Pyramids & Sphinx &The Egyptian Museum

Breakfast at the hotel, and visit the Egyptian Museum in Cairo (EMC) which is the oldest archaeological museum in the Middle East, housing over 170,000 artifacts. It has the largest collection of Pharaonic antiquities in the world. The Museum’s exhibits span the Predynastic Period to the Graeco-Roman Era (c. 5500 BC-AD 364).

Transfer to The Great Pyramid of Giza which is the largest Egyptian pyramid and tomb of Fourth Dynasty pharaoh Khufu. Built in the 26th century BC during a period of around 27 years, it is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the only one to remain largely intact. As part of the Giza pyramid complex, it borders present-day Giza in Greater Cairo, Egypt.

Day 3 Saqqara

Breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Saqqara, an Egyptian village in Giza Governorate, that contains ancient burial grounds of Egyptian royalty, serving as the necropolis for the ancient Egyptian capital, Memphis. The Step pyramid is 3000 years old, and has several mastaba tombs; the area covers an area of around 7 by 1.5 km (4.3 by 0.9 mi).

Day 4 Citadel & Old Cairo

Breakfast at the hotel then transfer to the Citadel, home to Egypt’s rulers for almost 700 years, is today one of the most popular tourist sites in Cairo, built by Saladin between 1176 and 1183. Continue to the Old Cairo to enjoy the oldest churches in the world and the place where Jesus and St. Mary hid for three months during their stay in Egypt.

Day 5 Free Day

Day 6 a day trip to Alex Kom El-Showaffaa-Library-Roman Theatre

Breakfast at the hotel, then transfer to Alexandria, the second capital of Egypt and the most important coastal city. We will enjoy the Great Library, Kom El-Shoaffa, and the Roman Empire.

Day 7

Breakfast then transfer to the airport.
