Day 1 Arrival in Cairo, Egypt

Arrival at Cairo International Airport. Meet and assist by our representative of “Egypt Best Vacations” who will help you through the arrival and visa regulations. Transfer to your hotel. Free time in Cairo and the beginning of your 21-day Egypt tour package.

Day 2 Giza Great Pyramids, Sphinx and Saqqara

Your actual 21-day Egypt tour package just begins right now.

Today, you will explore the Giza Plateau. Today’s tour includes the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure with the great Sphinx. The only ancient wonder which still exists (Khufu’s pyramid) awaits you. Are you ready to explore it from the inside?

Today you will hear about the history of the pyramids, how they were built, and why they were built. Then on to the first pyramid in history, the Step Pyramid of Djoser at Saqqara.

Transfer back to your hotel.

Day 3 Egyptian Museum, Saladin Citadel and Khan El-Khalili

Explore the fabulous contents of the historical Egyptian Museum at Tahrir Square in Cairo. Thousands of artifacts from all periods of Egyptian history are displayed on the two floors of the museum.

From the museum to the Citadel of the Sunni Muslim leader Saladin, which was built in 1172 to defend Cairo against the Crusaders. The White Mosque of Mohammed Ali Pasha is a prominent feature of the citadel.

You will finish your tour today at the historical bazaar of Khan El-Khalili, the largest bazaar in the Middle East.

Day 4 Cairo - Alexandria

Today, you are driving to the beautiful City of Alexandria, the capital city of Egypt during the Greco-Roman period. Upon arrival visit the famous Roman Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa and Pompey’s Pillar.

Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant, then check into your hotel and free evening in Alexandria.

Day 5 Alexandria - Cairo

Breakfast at the hotel then visit the Citadel of Qaitbay, Library of Alexandria, and the Roman Amphitheatre of Kom El-Dekka.

Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant, then drive back to Cairo.

Day 6 Dahshur - Memphis

Today, you are exploring the Pyramids of Dahshur, the Bent Pyramid, and the Red Pyramid which were built by pharaoh Senferu, father of Khufu. Then to the Open Air Museum in Memphis, the first capital city of United Egypt.

Day 7 Spiritual Cairo

Enjoy a spiritual tour to the Community of Religions in Cairo. The tour includes the famous Hanging Church, the Abu Serga Church, the Synagogue of Ben Ezra, and the first mosque in Africa, the Mosque of Amr.

Day 8 Fly to Hurghada

After some days of tours, you will enjoy some relaxation. So today, you are flying to the beautiful City of Hurghada on the Red Sea. Where you can enjoy some days of relaxation. Enjoy the underwater world and beaches of the Red Sea.

Day 12 Drive to Luxor - Nile cruise

After some days of relaxation in Hurghada, you will drive to Luxor to begin your 4-night Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan. Upon arriving on board, you will check into your room. After that, you’re invited to explore the largest temple in the world, the Temple of Karnak, and the majestic Temple of Luxor. Both temples were dedicated to the Theban Triad of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu.

Day 13 Kings Valley, Hatshepsut Temple and Colossi of Memnon

Discover the magnificent tombs of the Valley of the Kings. The pharaohs during the New Kingdom ceased building pyramids and cut their tombs deep into the mountain trying to hide them from grave robbers. There are 65 tombs in the Valley of the Kings, your guide will recommend the best 3 tombs of the open ones to visit.

From the magnificent Valley of the Kings to the unique Temple of the female pharaoh Hatshepsut who ruled as a solo pharaoh for about 20 years.

You will end your trip at the giant Colossi of Memnon which survives from the Temple of pharaoh Amenhotep III.

Back to your Nile cruise to set sail to Edfu through the Lock of Esna. Overnight in Edfu.

Day 14 Edfu & Kom Ombo Temples

You will wake up on the voices of the horsemen who are waiting to take you to the Temple of Horus in Edfu. This temple is the most intact temple in Egypt and was built during the Greco-Roman period.

After visiting the temple, you will sail up to Kom Ombo to visit the twin Temple of Sobek, the Crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god. Then proceed to the Crocodile Museum in the vicinity of the temple. After the tour, the ship will sail up to Aswan where it moors for the next two days.

Day 15 Aswan Tour

Welcome to the lovely City of Aswan. Your tour includes the largest engineering project in the 1960s, the High Dam as well as the granite quarry of the Unfinished Obelisk, and the awesome Temple of Philae. Back on board for lunch. Free evening to wander through the city.

Day 16 Lake Nasser Cruise - Abu Simbel Temples

Disembarkation then transfer to Abu Simbel to board your Lake Nasser cruise for the next four days. Have lunch on board. Visit the phenomenal Temples of Ramses and Nefertari at Abu Simbel.

Overnight in Abu Simbel.

Day 17 Qasr Ibrim - Amada

The ship sets sail from Abu Simbel to Qasr Ibrim, which you will view from the top deck. Then set sail to Amada to overnight there.

Day 18 Amada - Wadi Es-Seboua - Aswan

Today at Amada, you will visit the Temple of Amada, and the tomb of the Viceroy of Nubia, Pennut.

Then set sail to Wadi Es-Seboua. Here you are visiting the Temple of Wadi As-Seboua, the Temple of Dakka, and the Temple of Maharaqa.

Then set sail to Aswan to overnight.

Day 19 New Kalabsha - Fly back to Cairo

Disembarkation. Visit the New Kalabsha area which includes the Temple of Kalabsha, the Temple of Beit El-Wali, and the Kiosk of Kertassi.

Transfer to Aswan Airport to fly back to Cairo. Transfer to your hotel in Cairo.

Day 20 Free day

Free day in Cairo.

Day 21 Fly home
