Today, you will explore the Giza Plateau. Today’s tour includes the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure with the great Sphinx. The only ancient wonder which still exists (Khufu’s pyramid) awaits you. Are you ready to explore it from the inside?
Today you will hear about the history of the pyramids, how they were built, and why they were built. Then on to the first pyramid in history, the Step Pyramid of Djoser at Saqqara. Transfer back to your hotel.
Explore the fabulous contents of the historical Egyptian Museum at Tahrir Square in Cairo. Thousands of artifacts from all periods of Egyptian history are displayed on the two floors of the museum.
From the museum to the Citadel of the Sunni Muslim leader Saladin, which was built in 1172 to defend Cairo against the Crusaders. The White Mosque of Mohammed Ali Pasha is a prominent feature of the citadel.
You will finish your tour today at the historical bazaar of Khan El-Khalili, the largest bazaar in the Middle East. Transfer back to your hotel.
Today, you are driving to the beautiful City of Alexandria, the capital city of Egypt during the Greco-Roman period. Upon arrival visit the famous Roman Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa and Pompey’s Pillar.
Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant, then check into your hotel and free evening in Alexandria.
Breakfast at the hotel then visit the Citadel of Qaitbay, Library of Alexandria, and the Roman Amphitheatre of Kom El-Dekka.
Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant, then drive back to Cairo.
Enjoy a spiritual tour to the Community of Religions in Cairo. The tour includes the famous Hanging Church, the Abu Serga Church, the Synagogue of Ben Ezra, and the first mosque in Africa, the Mosque of Amr.
Breakfast at the hotel or breakfast box, then transfer to Cairo Airport to fly to Abu Simbel to begin your 3-night Lake Nasser cruise from Abu Simbel to Aswan.
Arrival at Abu Simbel airport. Meet and assist by our representative of “Egypt Best Vacations”. Transfer to your cruise. Have lunch on board. Visit the phenomenal Temples of Ramses and Nefertari at Abu Simbel. Overnight in Abu Simbel.
The ship sets sail from Abu Simbel to Qasr Ebrim, which you will view from the top deck. Then set sail to Amada to overnight there.
Today at Amada, you will visit the Temple of Amada, and the Tomb of the Viceroy of Nubia, Pennut.
Then set sail to Wadi Es-Seboua. Here you are visiting the Temple of Wadi Es-Seboua, the Temple of Dakka, and the Temple of Maharaqa. Then set sail to Aswan for overnight.
Disembarkation. Visit the New Kalabsha area which includes the Temple of Kalabsha, the Temple of Beit El-Wali, and the Kiosk of Kertassi.
Transfer to your Nile cruise to begin your 3-night Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor. Enjoy your lunch on board. Overnight in Aswan.
Breakfast on board then commence your tour. Explore the highlights of the beautiful City of Aswan, the High Dam, the beautiful Temple of Philae, and the granite quarry of the Unfinished Obelisk.
The Nile cruise ship will set sail to Kom Ombo around lunchtime. Disembark at Kom Ombo to visit the twin Temple of gods Horus, and Sobek. Back to the ship to set sail to Edfu. Overnight in Edfu.
Before/after breakfast, you will take a Horse and Carriage to visit the most intact temple in Egypt, the Temple of Horus in Edfu. Back to the ship to set sail to Luxor via the lock of Esna.
Upon arrival in Luxor, you will visit the impressive Karnak Temple and the majestic Luxor Temple. Overnight in Luxor.
Disembarkation. Visit the great highlights of Luxor’s west bank, the magnificent tombs of the Valley of the Kings, the unique temple of the female pharaoh Hatshepsut, and the giant Colossi of Memnon.
Transfer to Hurghada for some relaxation on the Red Sea beaches.
Enjoy the Red Sea beaches on your own. Tours such as diving, safari, snorkeling, glass boat, and submarine rides are available upon request.
