Start your adventure at the Malostranska metro station, at the base of Prague's Castle. Learn about Wallenstein Palace and its gardens near the start location. Walk by a museum and the Belgian Embassy on your way to a small park. Begin walking up the path leading to the castle and admire the city at the several observation points.
Enter the castle through the Black Tower, and learn about its history. See the Lobkowicky Palace and Rosenberg Palace on your way to an open plaza. There you'll see the Maria-Theresa Entrance to the castle. See St.George Basilica, the Presidential Palace, and the Old Palace. Walk around St.Vitus Cathedral, admiring it from different angles.
Walk through an arch to see a different courtyard, this time containing a Tourist Info Center and the Chapel of the Holy Cross. Exit the Castle through the Matthias Gate to the Church of St. Benedict. Make your way back down to the old town by way of the Bretfeldovsky Palace, the Church of the Virgin Mary, and the Montanelli Museum. Walk by the Mumo, the Holy Trinity Column, the Church of St Nicholas, and the Church of St Thomas.
On your way back to the starting point, see the Wallenstein Palace's front facade, an educational museum and the Garden under the castle.
