Mayapo is located 30 minutes from Riohacha, the capital city of La Guajira. In Mayapo you can learn kite surfing with off shore or on shore winds, you can choose hotels with air conditioning. You will be able to meet local kite surfers and instructors. In a semi-desertic zone where you will find silence and tranquility. You can choose if you want to do a course for hours or the full course of 12 hours, in which you will have some kite skills and you will be able to experience sliding on the water with the board.

1 DAY: You will arrive at Riohacha airport where a private vehicle will pick you up and take you to Mayapo, 30-35 min from Riohacha. Depending on the arrival time of your flight you can start classes the same day. You will sleep in a private cabin near the sea. Dinner at the lodge.
Day 2: Breakfast at the lodge, lunch at the lodge. 3-4 hours a day practicing the sport is recommended as exhaustion from the sun and sea water can lead you to make mistakes. This afternoon you can receive a massage by experts, this will help to relax the muscles tired by the physical effort. You will sleep in a cabin close to the beach.
Day 3: Breakfast at the lodge, lunch at the lodge. You will do 3-4 hours of kite surfing, tonight you will have a bonfire on the beach. Dinner at the lodge and sleep in a private cabin in front of the sea.
Day 4: Breakfast in front of the beach, 1-2 hours of kite surfing, lunch at the lodge. Transfer to Riohacha in private vehicle, waiting for your flight in Riohacha.
