Fraser River Whitewater Rafting

The Fraser River offers some of the best rafting in the region. After a short warm-up, the river provides great waves give you a thrill. A stop at Rearguard Falls allows you to see the mighty waterfall and mid-August you can witness the Chinook salmon jumping up. The Fraser River whitewater trip is well suited for first timers, rafting veterans, families, and anyone up for the challenge. Join us on the Fraser River for a whitewater trip of a lifetime! You will be on the river for 1.5 hours, with the total trip time at 3 hours to accommodate waiver signing, a safety talk, fitting you with gear, and a shuttle to and from the river.

Itinerary

You arrive at the Stellar Descents Base in Tete Jaune, where you will read and sign legal waivers. You will be fit with a wetsuit, booties, and a splash top to wear overtop of your swimwear. Your guides will explain the boat, safety measures in place, and must-knows about the river. There will then be a short drive to the river in a bus, where you will start your trip. Your guide will demonstrate and practice all paddle strokes with you before you enter any rapids. At Rearguard Falls there is a short walk to get around the falls, and you will continue your trip on the other side. Your shuttle will pick you up at the end of the trip and bring you back to the Stellar Base. Photos of your trip are available for purchase.
