The main highlight of this tour is attending the Thimphu Tshechu (Festival). You will get to see monks perform sacred mask dances and local folks performing traditional dances. You will see locals dressed in their finest clothes.

Day 01 (24th Sept): Arrive at Paro - Thimphu

The flight to Paro reveals scenic and breathtaking views of Himalayan Mountains of the world. If weather permits you will be able to see Mt. Everest (8848 m, 29,198ft) and other Himalayan Mountain Ranges.

Once you arrive at the Paro International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative (Guide) and then drive to Thimphu (approx. 1hr 30m). On the way visit Tachog gang where an iron chain bridge is built by Thang Thong Gyalpo. After arriving in Thimphu visit:- visit the National Memorial Chorten where we see elderly people pray and circumambulate the stupa; visit Jungshi Handmade Paper Factory where you will see how Bhutanese traditional handmade paper is made; And visit Motithang Takin Preserve also known as the Mini Zoo where you will see Bhutan’s typical national animal; Crafts Bazaar which you will find authentic Bhutanese made crafts. Zilukha Nunnery is also known as Druthob Goemba. Housing around 60 nuns in its premises, a visit to the site energizes the soul because of its peaceful surroundings, which lures one’s mind to never leave the site. From here, the spectacular view of Tashichho Dzong can be captured in a camera to make for a beautiful photo album. Later visit at Archery ground to see how local folks play their traditional sport.

Day 02 (25th Sept): Attend Thimphu Tshechu

In this tour you will be visiting glorious Thimphu Tashicho Dzong and attending Thimphu Tshechu with local folks . You will get to see monks perform sacred mask dances and local folks performing traditional dances. You will see locals dressed in their finest clothes who have walked from miles around to attend the festivities.

After lunch visit

Kuensel Phodrang; The Kuensel Phodrang or the Buddha point is situated on top of a hill overlooking the city of Thimphu where you can enjoy a grea view of the Thimphu Valley on both sides.

Hike to Wangditse Lhakhang which is 45 minutes. The Wangditse hike is a popular outdoor activity in Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. It offers locals and tourists alike a chance to enjoy nature and get panoramic views of the surrounding area.

Day 03 (26th Sept): Thimphu - Punakha

After breakfast, drive towards Punakha via Dochula Pass.

Dochu-La Pass The Dochu La Pass located at an altitude of 3150 meter above sea level is probably the best known mountain pass in Bhutan. On a clear day it offers an incredible view of Himalayan peaks. Another striking feature at the pass is the 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens.

Chimi Lhakhang is a temple of Drukpa Kuenley, who is known as the Divine Madman for his eccentric behaviors. He is also considered a symbol of fertility and many childless couples go to his temple for blessing.

Punakha Dzong The Dzong was built in 1637 and it was named as Pungthang Dechen Phodrang (Palce of Great Happiness). The Dzong is beautifully located in between the two rivers called Pho (male) and Mo (female) chhu (river). Later visit Suspension bridge.

Day 04 (27th Sept): Punakha - Paro

Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten It is a 45 minutes hike to Khamsum Yulley Namgyel temple with the picturesque view of the rice terraces along the river.

On arrival sightseeing around Paro including:-

National Museum (Ta Dzong) Ta Dzong is located on a ridge, overlooking the Rinpung Dzong and the Paro valley built as a watch tower. The Museum houses a priceless collection of paintings, appliqué, wooden masks, and art of clay Status.

Later Stroll around Paro town.

Day 05 (28th Sept): Punakha - Paro

Hike to Taktsang Monastery The wooden structure built amazingly, stands bravely on a cliff. From the road, the hike toward Taktshang follows an uphill route and takes approximately 2-3 hours at an average walking pace on a clear, sunny day.

Visit Rinpung Dzong.

Farmhouse visit Picturesque farm houses dotted the valley amongst fields and hillsides. We welcome you to visit Bhutanese homes for dinner with them and experience their hospitality. A visit gives you an interesting glimpse into the lifestyle of Bhutan.

Day 06 (29th Sept): Departure

In the morning drive to the Airport for flight to your onward destination.
