Start your tour at Maria-Theresien-Platz and see the grand monument to the Empress, the Vienna Natural History Museum, and the Vienna Gallery of Fine Arts. Continue through the museum district to the Architekturzentrum Wien, MUMOK, Leopold Museum, and the Zoom Kindermuseum. Then see a beautiful fountain and walk through the University of Vienna's buildings to the Secession Museum and the Getreidemarkt. From here, walk to Karlsplatz and Karlskirch, a monument to Johannes Brahms and the Vienna Museum. Cross the Ringstrasse to see the Vienna State Opera and the Albertina Museum. Walk through the Burggarten to see this beautiful park, a few monuments, and the Neue Burg. We walk around this to see the original Hofburg, the interior court, and the Spanish Riding School. Have a quick look at Michaelerplatz, the Michaelerkirche, and Roman ruins. We now enter a new park, the Volksgarten on our way to the Burgtheater. Cross the Ringstrasse once again to see the Rathaus (city hall) and the Austrian Parliament building.
