Palmetum Botanical Garden is a botanical garden covering an area of 17 hectares, situated in Santa Cruz de Tenerife - the capital of western Canary Islands. Artificial views of hill and ocean present beautiful scenery to enjoy and have quality time with family. Large system of waterfalls, a museum, a display shade house, and streams & ponds are some of the interesting things in Palmetum.
A large collection of Palms is there, most of them inherit from the world Islands. The overall collection contains 300 species, most of them are rare. Trees and shrubs are also displayed in biological sections. For a better environment, gardens are being maintained without any fertilizers and pesticides.
Any visitor to this place would definitely concede to this reality that it is an attractive feature of the city. The evolving face of the Palmetum Botanical Garden attracts visitors again and again to enjoy the changes that continue to happen.
