Museum of Nature and Man is an exemplary building in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, situated in the Old Civil Hospital. An example of typical neoclassical architecture recently refurbished for exhibition and other recreational as well as cultural uses. The facility contains a multifunction room, shop, courtyards, gardens, restaurant, and a documentation center and library.
Museum of Nature and Man offers the opportunity to explore the natural riches of the Island of Tenerife. In the daylight, you can visit the past just getting inside from the crowded streets that run peacefully. As soon as you will enter the museum, characters of past of different aborigines and conquerors, tongues and explorers, sugar mills and slaves, pirates and sewers, laundresses, ghosts and deceased, sinners and tortures, peasants and young man, floating islands, contraband, fountains, love, legends, informers, saint benedict and engineers will parade in your imaginations.
