Huong Tich Cave is beautiful cave and considered as the center part of Huong Son national tourism in My Duc District of Hanoi, Vietnam. The cave lies at a distance of 70 km in the southwest of Hanoi. A famous legendary story pertained to Ba Ba is also associated with this place. She was being the daughter of emperor jade expelled from her house to this place and kept here for years and years by her father.

A pagoda called Huong Tich is required to be crossed to reach the Huong Tich Cave. Visitors often cross the distance of 2.5 km to reach Huong Tich Cave. Most parts of the journey are sloping, tough and tortuous. As you will go nigh to the cave, you would observe a higher slope. Visitors would notice a large dome-like jaw of a dragon which is basically Huong Tich. Five letters are printed on the upper side of the dome by Trinh Sam Lord as Most Beautiful Cave in South. Upon crossing the entrance and going down deep after almost 120 steps, you will confront a captivating inner part of the cave. Rice hill made of stalactite is present inside the middle part. Just move down a bit deep and you will encounter two paths.

One supposed to be leading towards heaven while others will lead you to hell. Varying sizes and shapes of stalactites in the cave have been given many names. Except for many natural constructions, there are some artificial carving monuments also. Most beautiful among them all is the Avalokitesvara, crafted during Tay Son time by the green marble. A big jaw dragon-like shape comes to mind as we see the Huong Tich. Stalactites with the name Dun Gao in center of the cave looks like the mouth and tongue of a dragon. Going further inside seems as you are walking in the mouth of a dragon.

Largest place for Buddha of Huong Pagoda is known as Huong Tich. Whenever you will come to Huong Pagoda, you will be having the opportunity to visit this cave. Special statues offer beautiful scenery and stories. In short, the Huong Tich cave always remained a major tourist attraction and used to be full of perfume and fragrance. The rush of visitors to this place speaks volumes about the historical, cultural and social value of Huong Tich Cave.
