Bai Tu Long Bay is an off-the-main track tourist site whose importance has been increased manifold recently. It lies in the east of Halong Bay and stands nearby to Vietnam’s-China border. Bai Tu Long Bay and Halong Bay have many similarities and among the features of it include crystal clear water and some other tourist points.
Previously visitors used to come at Bai Tho Mountain to picturise the panoramic and scenic view of Bai Tu Long Bay. But since the rush of tourists to this place has been increased after 2017, the track to Bai Tho Mountain has been banned. Perhaps both the places either it is Bai Tho Mountain or Bai Tu Long Bay have huge attraction for tourists and visitors do come from across the world throughout the year.
As per some historical records, when Vietnam was invaded, Emperor Jade sent Mother Dragon to help out the locals. After vanquishing the attackers, the mother dragon fell in love with this mesmerizing place. More so, she decided to make the place its home for the rest of her life. Mother dragon stayed at Ha Long bay, however, dragons descended at Bai Tu Long Bay.
The overall site view is instantly clear and quieter and you might see the breathtaking and vast views after reaching here. Location of this place suggests that one must enjoy a 3-day minimum cruise if the exploration of the bay areas is wished. For better visiting Bai Tu Long Bay, the longer itinerary is required as one day tour to the place won’t do them justice with the place. The beauty of Karsts and limestone mountains standing in the crystal clear water or the caves in tranquil mode makes the Bai Tu Long Bay one of the most attractive places in the area.
After reaching the site you will find out that many places still remain primitive and invites curiosity. Sites open for the public to visit Thay Cave, Thien Canh Son Cave, Ban Chan Beach, Ang Du Srea and Vung Vieng Fishing Village. Kayak in Vung Vieng Fishing Village that lies at the center of Bai Tu Long Bay. It is at a distance of 24 km from the mainland. This Village presents the best opportunity to immerse in a peaceful location while sightseeing the breathtaking landscape. The traditional culture of fisherman living since many past generations at this place will detail you about their distinctive stories. The clear water and tranquil environment of the village will relax you completely. Ban chai beach nearby bay offers crystal clear water with white sand beach, a hidden paradise away from the site of visitors.
Thus, you must enjoy the opportunity to swim at the beach and have some BBQ party. Ang Du Area and Thay cave have also similar natural features and some other historical aspects. In short, Bai Tu Long Bay is a worth visiting place and if you are planning to go to Vietnam, it should also be included in the list.
