Bai Chay Beach is an attractive visiting place located 100 Km northeast of Hanoi. There are more than one ways to reach Bai Chay Beach, frequently used by indigenous and foreign visitors. You can opt the way to reach here based on your type and time of the trip. As carpet roads are at place, so anyone from bus, train, and motorcycle can be used to reach this place. If you are traveling from Hanoi, then you will have to buy the tickets from the My Dinh bus station. Tickets are about more than 100,000 VND/person. Another way is to reach by train, and this is considered a comparatively easy path. Ha Long express train takes almost 10 to 15 minutes to reach this place. One can reach by bike also to this place, first from Hanoi to Sai Dong and the Pha Lai and finally at Ha Long.
Few legendary stories are associated to define the historical importance of Bai Chay Beach. It is said that when a food-carrying fleet Yuan-Mongolian invaders came, the locals attacked under the stewardship of Tran Khanh Du’s leadership and burnt the whole fleet.
