Bagar is a village in Pokhara. It had been a trading goods exchange hub between India and Tibet. However, few caravans came today from Mastung to Bagar village. Presently, this route is defunct for most of its part for trading activities. Let aside trade, Bagar village has emerged as a tourist destination owing to the calm and beautiful scenery. It is a very good place to spend leisure time as one can enjoy boating, rock climbing, and paragliding in the town. According to the census of 2011, Bagar has a population of 15,513.
Small hotels and guest houses can be used for night accommodation. People there are living in traditional Nepali style. Adjacent sites to Bagar village are Mahendrapul and Mahendra cave.
