Ang village is located on the Moc Chau plateau of Vietnam’s northern mountains, at an approximate distance of 180 kilometers from Hanoi. Beautiful flowers, the rush of tourists, natural sceneries, cool breeze, and the rich ethnic minority culture is all that makes the Ang village a must place to visit. Spring is the best time to pay a short visit to Ang Village.
Ang village has played a significant part in promoting the Moc Chau area. Locals have renovated their poor houses into commercial guest houses, planted vegetables for their own needs and started planning tours for the outsiders. Villagers believe that the majority of the people who come to visit the village love to stay in home-based residence instead of going to hotels as clean and unhygienic living conditions are furnished in the homes with a family environment which is missing in the hotels and other restaurants. Thai people who are living in the village are still making handicrafts, embroidery and teach the visitors how to do this job. Everybody going out there must taste the fresh and tasty cuisine food also. Most famous is the bowl of taro soup, a veal dish in a pan, and the homes grew vegetables. The most envied dish is the grilled moss extracted from the brooks. Locals would teach that how they often make this special dish.
The behavior of people, the cultural enticement and the charming landscape, all has made this village an iconic place in Moc Chau. Tourism services in the village are continuously improving for the past many years due to which people love to pay a visit to it to hear the old folk songs, play folk games and enjoy the Het Chai Festival & New Rice Festival.
Increased tourism has greatly improved the living standard of the locals. Hence just go there and experience visiting the Northwestern mountains scenery, ride horses and walk inside the Ang Pine forest from the Ang village.
