Then we will show you examples of architecture from the 1800s when Buenos Aires city planning and engineering was hugely influenced by the Italian immigrants. Then introducing the extravagant architecture of the 1900s when Buenos Aires was one of the twelve world capitals with the most accomplished architecture and – at one point - was the third fastest growing city behind Hamburg and Chicago. Throughout these years the ever-growing sophisticated architecture aimed to demonstrate the prosperity and success of Argentina’s Capital - many of Buenos’ Aires most luxurious houses, hotels and palaces were built during this period -.
This tour allows you to see and visit some of the most important places and landmarks representing the style inspired by the forms of nature, heir to the German Jugendstil which left notable examples in the fabric of Buenos Aires city.
