Annapurna Sanctuary Trek - 14 Days
Annapurna Base Camp Trek or Annapurna Sanctuary Trek package is also known as ABC Trek. Annapurna Sanctuary Trek is one of the popular trekking packages in Nepal according to trekkers/ hikers choice. The Trek to Annapurna Base Camp is one of the best trekking packages which is included two different most popular city of Nepal, Kathmandu and Pokhara.
The trek starts from historical Kathmandu city tour, natural beauty city tour of Pokhara, and amazing driving experience through Kathmandu to Pokhara and vice versa. You can see beautiful greenery mountain on the way. After reaching Pokhara, we start our trekking after driving towards Nayapul.
After reaching Nayapul, we start our trek Tikhedhunga around 5 hours.
Another day we will reach Ghorepani village where one ethnic group Gurung village can explore and can experience Gurung culture and their life style.
The next day is wake up early and short hike towards Poon hill from where you can see amazing sunrise and different snow Peak Mountain like Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Fishtail and other small mountains. After back to Ghorepani and Tadapani, we start our journey towards Annapurna Base Camp which is our final destination. We will reach Annapurna Base Camp via Machhapuchhre Base Camp.
In Annapurna Base Camp, we will provide tea house/lodges in trekking area with limited service due to remote area, limited food items.
These parts of area are heavily cultivated and the landscape, therefore, largely consists of terraced paddy fields for most of the year. The Annapurna area is also famous for its winter crops of oranges, which can be purchased fresh from the trees along the trails in the foothills. As you progress higher up into the hills the natural vegetation changes from the tropical species to more temperate stands of forest trees including oak, beech and rhododendron. These finally give way to coniferous forests of pine and, ultimately, juniper just below the tree line. In the rain shadow, to the north of the mountains, the landscape is quite barren being an extension south of the Tibetan plateau.
